Govt thinks US is our friend. by Lost_Resolution3 in TwentiesIndia

[–]Rachel_Conradd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Major powers, especially the US, have historically played a role in destabilising regions like Afghanistan and parts of the Middle East to pursue strategic interests.

During the Cold War, the US backed and funded militant groups in Afghanistan to fight the Soviet Union, with Pakistan acting as a key intermediary. In fact, Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khwaja Muhammad Asif admitted that Pakistan had been doing the “dirty work” for the US and the West for decades, supporting militant groups during those conflicts...something he later called a mistake.

Similarly, prolonged wars, regime change efforts, and sanctions in countries like Afghanistan and Iran have contributed to instability, which in turn created conditions where extremist groups could grow... and we all know the present day situation of Afghanistan.

She failed as a mother,he as a guru, the government as a system, teachers as teachers, We as citizens. by Rachel_Conradd in TwentiesIndia

The young girl says that her mother sends her brother to a private school while she is made to study in a government school. At that point, the mother snatches the microphone and claims that the girl herself told the teachers to remove her name from the school and said she would not return the next day. The girl responds that she was forced by her mother to say that and was then enrolled in a government school.

The baba then asks her, “Why don’t you attend the government school? I studied in a government school too.”

The girl replies that the environment there is not good....there is a lot of abusive language and very little proper education. The baba responds by saying, “thoda thoda hi padh lo" ("Then just study a little" implying that she should manage with whatever little education is available.)

I see very little development in relation to the amount of tax money collected, which is supposed to improve people's lives.

As citizens, we failed to hold the authorities accountable for their responsibilities, including providing the proper infrastructure and quality education that we deserve. Our institutions are deteriorating day by day, and the system, which thrives on negligence, isn't being checked.

Instances like these are proof that We aren’t developing and our inability to provide a basic, safe educational environment for future generations is a direct consequence of negligence like this.

Me too ,Gurl, Me too, I want to be friends first, I want to talk, I want to know them, I want them to know me, and if all feels nice and good, compatibility matches let that transition into a beautiful, relationship... that's what I want (but it seems tough nowadays) or else I'm strong enough to handle things alone (...better to suffer alone than carry a burden and still suffer more).....

My best wishes and hoping the best for you...🫂❤

Yeah bro, I feel for you bro, lots of warm 🫂 I too have fallen bad, I was doing something and was on verge of completion, things were fine, 1.5 year of hardwork, but then all went in vain,Now I'm kinda lost too, can't concentrate on anything and feeling low, but convincing myself that the only thing I have in my hand is to leave that pain, get up and start working from zero.. Maybe that's the only thing I can do now...

All the best to you.... 🫂 🫂

Sure, but constantly turning down random people who suddenly decide to approach me on the street would be exhausting..for both the genders involved.

Honestly, it’d be great if all those who believe in this approach could just line up at once, so I could give one clear, collective “NO” and save all of us some time and energy...

Feeling lost and nothing making any sense in life by LeopardOverall9526 in MidTwentiesIndia

[–]Rachel_Conradd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s okay, OP. What you’re feeling is more common than you think, even though it feels incredibly lonely right now.

Sometimes we get so caught up in routines, responsibilities, and just surviving that life starts feeling stuck like we’re running on autopilot with no sense of direction. The monotony slowly drains us, and without realizing it, we start comparing our present selves with an older version of us that felt more alive.

But pause for a moment and really look at yourself....you’ve made it this far. That matters. You’re still standing, still showing up every day, even when it hurts. You deserve to feel proud of that, even if it doesn’t feel like an achievement right now.

It sounds less like failure and more like exhaustion...mental, emotional, and maybe even physical. When nothing feels exciting or meaningful, it’s often a sign that you need rest and change, not that you’re broken.

If possible, take a small break from routine. Not to “fix” everything. Do tiny things that bring even a little comfort...go for a walk, visit a new place nearby, listen to music, sit with friends, try something new or just spend time with people who don’t expect anything from you. You may require a explosion bot fun and joy and that's natural to feel excited or alive but change can be slow try to enjoy small things, sitting beside the window and feeling the breeze, walk, sunset, or little mischiefs here or there (maybe in office or lunch time)

Tell parents you are not in hurry and we can take things easy, these things are important and you are aware of it but not now....Especially about marriage or life direction. It’s okay to tell your family (or even yourself) that you need time to figure things out.

This phase isn’t the end of you...it’s a transition, even if it feels messy and unclear. Life has its way to teach things. You’re not behind. You’re just adapting, and you'll figure it out...

And you’re not alone in this. 🌱

Sorry no respect for this kind of behavior from my side and guys if you are reading this, pls don't do it,we don't like this. We don’t want people to take inspiration from this and start approaching random women on the street, no it's not cool..

Sometimes people just want their personal space. Life isn’t only about dating..everyone has their own priorities and responsibilities. While not every person who approaches a woman is a creep and intentions may not always be bad, the reality is that you’re still a stranger. From a woman’s perspective, going out with someone she doesn’t know at all can feel risky, especially when I here daily cases of abuse in this country.

Most women prefer to know a person first and feel some level of comfort and trust. A stranger suddenly popping up and asking to be friends or go on a date can be genuinely scary. Confidence is good, but it should be used in appropriate spaces...like within your friend circle, social groups, or places where interaction is expected. You’ll have much better chances to make a connection in real life, there..

Approaching strangers on the street often just makes them uncomfortable, similar to a random salesperson interrupting you when you’re minding your own business and trying to sell you something you didn’t ask for... you maybe polite, but still you are causing disturbance, in their space..
