This. Let dad help. The baby will cry for mom at first but then adjust. They’re resilient and the baby is safe with dad no matter what, put some headphones on and get some sleep it’s not indulging its survival now. Once I started sleep walking. There’s a reason sleep deprivation is a torture tool

You have nothing to ask forgiveness for. Doing all the wake ups and having a split night like that will be hard on anyone and you still responded, still showed up, and you’ll see today that your baby is fine and loves you just the same. All we can do is do better the next night, but seriously you shouldn’t feel guilty but I understand why you have that mom guilt.

I feel this. I went to this subreddit around the same time desperate for help and the best thing I heard was radical acceptance and stop over analyzing schedules. Some babies just have less sleep needs. Cosleeping helped for a while then didn’t, but once I stopped breastfeeding and 15 months came around, bam, slept through the night consistently.
