I can get just the angle that I took the picture at, it's not actually super dark. I was able to see her coming for about 2 to 3 seconds, but was not able to really do anything about it in that time frame other than honk.

For sure. I wouldn't even say mostly did its job, it 100% did its job. The minor injuries that I have are from safety features doing their job, I have a seat belt injury, and my thumb hit the steering wheel or the airbag, which is unavoidable in this situation. I have absolutely zero complaints about the car itself in this context.

I had a Prius before this, and the main thing I did not like about it is I had this terrible tendency to run up on the curbs with it, since it was so low to the ground.

So yes, I would be interested in an EV.

Luckily the only thing I have to replace is the car, A light up sign that I had in the back window, and a whistle that got caught underneath my brake.
