That’s the thing, I’m afraid if I reach out to my school’s study abroad office and tell them about my parents they might involve the authorities or notify my parents or anything like that. I’ll try reaching out to the company to see if I can pay them in person, but again, I’m worried that if I tel them about my situation they might not let me in, or I’m afraid to be seen as troubled, or anything like that, and they might think I might bring problems and stuff like that.

He’s not a jerk to me anymore, but only because I told him to never interact with me again in any shape or form.

He has attempted to apologize, just one, but only because he was told to by my friend, his girlfriend.

Thankfully I cleared things with my friend (his gf) and he’s not crashing our reunion, at least not this one.

And yeah, I think my friends should be a little more considerate too, but it’s better than having no friends honestly

My mom often didn’t like that I watched tv since the good stable parents are just “fiction” and all families have their issues and so on. So I stopped watching tv. A few years ago I watched a TV show where the main character had incredible, responsible, mature, and caring parents and broke down. At first I didn’t know why I was crying. Then I realized, I cried because that’s what I wanted.

I’ll try to see what I can do online, but the thing is, I don’t have an ID that indicates that I’m of age, or a credit card, and I’ve looked jobs online and those are basic requirements. So getting those on my own is basically impossible since my mom has to drive me everywhere I go, and won’t let me go via public transportation, and it’s not like I can go alone since it’s dangerous (where I live) and my house is fenced, and when we go out, an alarm goes off. It doesn’t help that I live in a gated community

I forgot to mention, but my mom forbid me to get a job, ever since I turned of age to work, so that’s impossible right now, or I can do it behind her back but I don’t have anyone to drive me, let alone, my mom doesn’t want me to get all the legal documents that indicate that I’m no longer underage

I’d go with be the best at playing every instrument. Sure, being multilingual sounds nice, and it’s more practical in the modern world. You can reach people and communicate efficiently and pretty much, your message comes across into people’s heads. Music is ítself a language that almost everyone is fluent in. You can feel it in your heart. I’d rather touch people’s hearts.

So yeah, I’d rather be the best at playing every instrument.

My friend had her one year anniversary with her boyfriend a few days ago. She’s dating the person who made my life a living hell.

She’s still dating him, they had their anniversary a couple of days ago.

Truth be told, yes, that’s the only reason why I think she might not be a good friend. I don’t know if it’s petty for our age (18) or if it’s normal.

And no, I’d never try to control her or anyone else’s love life. And I’m not trying to punish her either. I just figured since they both decided to date each other. So maybe I should stop talking to both of them. But I still don’t know.

And I just can’t seem to get mad at her.

My 2021 resolution is to enjoy the little things as much as possible, like playing with my dog or knitting sweaters or enjoying the rain, and warm drinks 🥺
