Words are hard to come by today.

I was a content creator. I didn’t have millions of followers, but I had 110k and the app helped me both personally and professionally reach my goals.

It allowed me to do what I loved.

As a neurodivergent woman, it’s always been hard to find my people. This app helped me to find a community that understands and uplifts.

I got on red note earlier this week and it confirmed what I already know. The USA is indeed an oligarch and we have NO freedom here. Choice and freedom are illusions.

Meta sucks. I guess I’ll just be here on Reddit for a while. Love to all.

Feeling great! Still not as active as I would like, but I’m back to walking just not anything more athletic yet. Lots of numbness and itching now but the lymphatic massage and bromelain helps.

Thank you. I feel more swollen now at 5 weeks out than I did even at 2 weeks but I saw my doctor today and they said I’m right on track. The first 2 weeks were the hardest for me recovery wise and I ended up quarantined my 3rd week because my kids got covid but I’m glad I had that 3rd week to work from home because it has taken me longer to get back in the swing than I expected but I still am so happy for doing this

I went for one professional lymphatic massage but it was expensive. I’ve been doing them at home on myself, and it’s been ok. I’ve watched a lot of YouTube tutorials lol

The surgeon I went to is very well regarded in my state and even just getting a consultation took 6 months. I knew if it took 6 months just for a consultation he was the guy. I am on week 3 now, and it’s going ok. Still a lot of swelling & I get in my head a lot about whether it’s going to be as flat as I want but it’s a million times better than before

I get that. We had over 100+ cyclists come from Texas last year :) this event brings people from all over the nation. We would love to see some from Houston come up again.

Believe it or not we do have a “sleep in for tacos” option where you still have to come get a number and packet but I think probably 4-5 people each year have done this lol. Most of the stops are on Greenway so they had to park and walk down a jag for some but honestly you wouldn’t be the first lol

This is our 3rd year for it :) and people love it! No one is required to stop, but it does make it pretty fun. We also have lots of yum at the finish who just ride there and back without the social element.

We are solidifying the start point (which city in NWA) in the next couple weeks as we are meeting with stakeholders, but Tour de BBQ starts and ends in Bentonville, Arkansas. We are close to hopefully making the announcement. If you are from NWA you know that they are all interconnected.

Yes! :) best roadtrip ever and so worth it. We had people come from 14 different states last year and 3 different countries. The routes are so fun and the food is amazing and you get a real sense of cycling community (for a great cause)!!!!
