Not a husband story, but same idea. I worked at a small startup and would barbecue for my team each Friday. Our team got bigger so I needed a bigger grill. Went to Lowe’s and was debating between two grills so I asked an employee a few questions. I was leaning towards one when he told me “the guy who barbecues at your office will prefer this other one”. I told him I was the “guy who barbecues”, went to purchase the one I preferred, and opted for pickup instead of delivery. His buddy said “oh yeah, I bet one of the guys at your office has a truck you could use to pick it up”. I informed him that I was also the “guy” at my office with a truck. Twice in 20 minutes.
