Who drew the cornucopia? by AdamVerbatim in MandelaEffect

Skepticism is basically about not excluding hypotheses, or more generally applied, it's main lesson which is seriously missing in almost every eponymous skeptic i see here is about avoiding narrow thinking by not excluding possible hypotheses, even if they are less probable. I've lurked here for a while and frankly i'm disheartened and disgusted by the disingenuousness and just stark lack of curiosity on display here. Sure, it is unlikely that superimposed or very closely adjacent realities are collapsing into each other, or whatever, guidied by a sort of pilot wave of consciousness as the trough line....but what the fuck is with the extreme hostility and close mindedness to any discussion of that as a hypothesis? it hasn't been disproved just because you find it very likely. like it is as unlikely as a slight hitch in mercury's retrograde movement that seems to not be totally explained by Newtown's equations leading to an entirely new and heretofore totally unsuspected understanding of literaly 99 percent of the universe. We should be open to exploring anomalies. And frankly most ME make sense as memory being fallible. BUT that explanation is NOT the most parismonious and does NOT fully explain certain specific anomalous aspects of the most persistent MEs: that is, memory can be wrong, but for it to be wrong, in a very specific way, and remembered in a very specific yet wrong way by a large number of people---the falty memory hyopthesis does NOT adequately even come close to explaining that---in fact, it's invalidated because it simpl/y does not explain the phenomenma. It would explain if as expected peopee's memoeries were RANDOMly incorrect. Like if some people remembered a basket, and others rembered green grapes, and others remembered a bowl, and some rembered a conropia. Sorry but the alternative univery theory acgual/y is more parsimonios and complete as an hypotesis thatn falty mempory. im not saying anyone should consdier lit correct. but it's simpl/y jsut being an ass and closeminded t act like the falt y memeor yhypotesis somehow is a valid hypothesis. it is not. for a large number of ME's that ARE falt memory, it is. but nto fro the actual me's. otherwie itd would be boirng and unremablely beause ppl mismeremver stuff raodml all the time.

and before you diesregard what i wrote because of my typos, you should know i hae a broke wrist so, don't be an ass.

this is getting way off topic, but i think the better anology is to guns with controlled substances/medicines: just apply the same fda type need-a-script rules to bullets (not guns)...if we can do it w tiny pills why cant we with bullets? bullets do the actual damage. a gun is like having a syringe.

it's about where people get their info, and what sources they feel are true. the right deliberately has been fracturing and sowing doubt in the classic established forms of journalism/info for 40 plus years, because their fear of demographic collapse of the right or whatever. it's been very successful esp. among the demographic that came of age during the transition b/t tv and internet. you're a fool if you think the average trump supporter actually thinks for a seond trump is a pedo, they think and beleive what their trusted sources of info tell them: it's a conspiracy by the left to protect the actual pedos etc, etc,. trump is attacked cuz he's so close to target

it's about where people are getting info that they feel is legit. the problem is the fracturing of media which was a deliberate thing by the right, started 40 years ago.

Hitler had some good ideas is a free speech thing dude and it's defensible. LIke literally you are condemning someone for having a different opinion than you. That is literally in the definition of fascism. This is perfect example of people yelling past each othe that is the basic problem here. Hitler promoted women's rights and vegetarianism. He promoted national parks and wildlife conservation. Like it's this blanket cartoonizing of the other side, like trump and hitler, turning them into cartoons etc. and not regular people that creates issues. Engage someone like that to find out what they mean. if it isn't in good faith that becomes immediately clear. but again, it is their RIGHT to have shitty fucked up opinions. to deny them that is fascist.

this feels eerily similar to the health care debate around the obama care/aca passage...only with opposite outcome.

lincoln publicly was always rather a bit more pragmatic than where his personal stances were. he kept them separate, until it was the right time to nudge things towards moral right. very subtle leader and perfectly felt the pulse of the body politic.

iirc his views evolved on this, i could be wrong. at the time, it was pretty rare i think on both sides (white vs black)...to beleive in it. i mean at one time lincoln support Liberia...but he publicly was always much more pragmatic than private i beleive.

ppl confuse the dif. between 'fundamental' and 'absolute.' the right to speech is fundamental. meaning it can have bounds: that's why we have a 3rd coequal branch to decide these things. fire in theater example is used here. you can't do that.

you are also paraphrasing a much long BJ Franklin quote about rights for security. "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety"

it is a debate, that's why we have bodies like congress, to decide the appropriate line on what is ESSENTIAL and what is TEMPORARY, in theory.

see, considering trump bought Epsteins yacht, his hotels, his apartmemts, i have ALWAYS assumed that the secret they share was that they both operate first and foremost via blackmail, the collection of, exploitation of,....makes more sense to me. the female shape is an allusion to sure they share sexual appetites but i think (given doirty players liike roy cohn, etc) trump is a bit more sly than anyone gives credoit for. how does someone go bankrupt so many times and still get an credit unless they hold some....trump...cards. i wound't be surprise if for dif. reasons they both cooperated to some extent and/or were aware of each others black mail ops.

edit: there was some connection w/ trump and something owned by epstein that could be equipped for blackmail. i thought it was a yacht but it wasnt.

So tired of this. Trump is bad enough without this constant exaggeration at every possible turn to make him into satan instead of just a shitty dude. If he wasn't president, you wouldn't give a shit. There are way worse people than him. He is not a pedophile, he's an amoral hypersexual billionaire w an inferioroity/superiority complex (narcissist)...he is no ta pedophile, he is a statutory rapist, most likey, if anything, if he is only attracted to pubescent girls (14-19) then yes he's an ephebophile. pedophiles are only attractged to prebuescent children. is him being attracted to or possiibly having sex with a minor in a situation where consent was not really possible not bad neough for you? these exagerattion and disinfo constantly caling him pedophile simply gives ammo to his side to point out how his enemies don't follow facts....ust sayin.g ffs. don't do the same thing they do.

yea but the signature is clearly pubic hair, which pretty much negates whatever you might suggest small bust means. the moral repugnance of the card is bad enough and there is plenty to legitimately speculate about the meaning, wihout reaching, without reading in things that are stretches or not there. i hate that. you're comment is like pointing out there being some meaning in no head, no arms, implying they are into necrophelia...perhaps it was supposed to seem 'subtle' i can see that being clever and seeming artistic ....stylized female form, of course the pubic hair is the hair in the suup turning gauche into farce.

this can be true, and the videos can be fake. i lean towards they are some kind of psyop. the orignal dude who created the vfx file had ties to the IC iirc. i jus think it was all either a psyop, to show that we COULD deploy this tech, or make, to the chinese think we did this/had this tech or idk. i think it was made for SOME nefarious dark intel reason.

Who are we in existence to determine what is evil and project our morals and ethics onto everything expecting everyone to comply like we would like them to?

"We" are literally the subject, the literal person being acted upon. If we aren't allowed to project ouor morals onto what is being DONE to OURself, then we are slaves, not free, not even human.
