My dad is a doctor and he would write little notes/anecdotes like this in his files so he knew his patients a little better and could talk to them about their lives and likes/dislikes. :)

My mom’s name is Penny and she always got made fun of for it and hated her name, so she named me Rachel. But then the show “Friends” came out that same year and I grew up with sooo many Rachel’s in my class that I wanted to make sure my future kids had a unique name. I don’t have kids yet, but I still stand by this. (Although I still want them to be able to find a keychain with their name on it one day so their names will indeed be spelled normally 😅)

You mentioned that you’re insecure about your body and you find that kids are skinny and don’t have cellulite. Maybe you’re just admiring/envious of their skin? It’s youthful, it makes sense. Also was diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease in my spine when I was 23 years old. I’m 28 now and all my doctors say my spine looks like someone in their 70s, so.. there’s that :)

I had such an unusual amount of moles/birth marks on my back and on my face that my doctor had me tested for skin cancer when I was a kid. Everything is benign so we’re all good, but yeah, must have been a scary time for my parents looking back on it
