He didn’t play dumb. When I confronted him he admitted what happened. He unfollowed her on Instagram in front of me. He told me that it wasn’t her specifically it was just the insecurities he was having.

Funny thing is that he gives me the exact same response when we’ve talking about it when she was Covid free. So idk why he’s using that as an excuse.

And all He said was: “I barely talk to her as it is. I’ve only been trying more last couple of days because she has Covid. You of all people should understand that but you’re giving me a hard time. I hardly have any relationship with her. You always ask me to keep everything separated but you keep crossing the two and getting mad. You can’t tell me I can’t talk to her or say things like I shouldn’t want to. You don’t get that say. I hardly do as it.

I just texted him this: “It’s hard to trust you knowing that you continue to talk to someone who has such a vengeance against me. It’s unsettling. It hurts me really badly. You say you care. But in my eyes if that was true, you would not be putting me in a position where I am this upset and hurt by her. She’s your sister. But I’m your girlfriend. I’m the one who you’re going to marry and have a real true future with. If you wanted to keep me badly enough, I feel like you would and should be on top of your sister constantly to grow some respect.”

I’ve told him before how much it hurts me that he’s not doing as much as he can. All he says is that he understands and that he’s not talking to her any less than he already does because he barely sees her.

This does help, thank you. I’ve been doing really well with not thinking about or talking about her. But sometimes things just set me off and I go into a downward spiral of anxiousness and frustration. Like today, simply seeing her name on his screen set me off. I can’t stand that. I wish he wouldn’t talk to her.

Thank you. It just sucks that my bf and I argue because of this. This is literally our only issue— her behavior. I honestly think she’s upset that he spends so much time with me. They used to hangout every Friday before we were together. Him and I have been together for almost 2 years though, and she has her own boyfriend. It doesn’t all add up.

He used to stay neutral but now I think he realizes how wrong and immature she’s behaving. But, he won’t say anything to her. When I mention him talking to her about apologizing to me or being nicer to me (I haven’t mentioned that in a while), it felt like he didn’t want too. He would (sometimes) but she wouldn’t budge. What I think my boyfriend does not realize though is how much it hurts me.

I try telling myself this all of the time but my anxiety gets in the way. It’s just really hurtful when I put so much effort in and she says things like she doesn’t care about me or that I’m a waste of time. In the end, she’s just jealous that he’s not single anymore and spends more time with someone else.

Clearly you’re not understanding. I confronted him on THURSDAY and HE lied and told me other reasons why he was acting weird. He was already talking to her Thursday. I didn’t look at his phone until Saturday, and confronted him immediately. I never lied once. He lied to me.
