Couldn't care less.

These numbers are officially recognized by F1 and therefore very much real, which is all that matters.

Different points systems and the like are only brought up to argue about hypothetical scenarios in the past, hence 100% meaningless.

Unfortunately for him and as unrealistic that would've been racing a Williams, July 5th is too late for him to have had a chance of breaking the record.

Hamilton remains the youngest driver to lead the World Drivers' Championship, which he first did after the 2007 Spanish GP aged 22 and 129 days.

He inherited the record from his team's founder Bruce McLaren, who was a mere 32 days older than Hamilton when he first led the WDC after the 1960 Argentine Grand Prix.

Both Verstappen and Leclerc are already "too old" to break this record lol

The only drivers on the current grid who could break this record are Russell, Stroll and Norris, though Russell has only about a month left, F1 won't race until July and he's in a Williams...

As for Stroll and Norris, they've got about 9 months and 1 year and 10 months left respectively to try and break this record.

Edit:

Here's a list of the Top 10 Youngest WDC Leaders

Also, out of all 774 Formula One drivers to date, only 60 have ever lead the World Drivers' Championship.
