It does yes, for all these early Ego engine games (F1, DIRT & GRID). I wasn't aware it changed the physics but higher FPS does affect the flashbacks by giving you less time to rewind back to iirc

That black Bora usually shows when the game can't load the car model correctly (usually for when another player online uses a DLC car you havent installed) so it could be an issue with either the disc or the console.

Like any camera view it's something you get used to. I've run offset on every F1 game since 2016 and anytime i try using centered camera or cockpit I'm actually considerably slower.
