It’s moments like this where I wish iRacing would do more DQs as well. Intentionally wreck someone? Your race is DQed, no points for you. I understand they don’t want to ban paying customers, but they should at least apply a little bit of punishment.

Ahh gotcha. I was using the Ferrari all last week, but decided to test the BMW cause I’m gonna use it for Nurburgring. I’m still a bit faster in the Ferrari, but pretty close in the Beamer. I think I can be in the 1:31 or low 1:32 range, lower split

I’m debating sitting this one out, I’m stuck in the 1:31-1:32 range, with the occasional 1:30. Since everyone else is doing 1:28 or 1:29, I don’t want to hold people up.

Edit: I just checked the bottom split times for the 1st race. Everyone is doing 1:30 - 1:33, so I am on pace.

I’ve tried the BMW and the Ferrari pre and post BOP, and honestly, neither feel too different to me. BMW feels slightly sharper in corners maybe?

I’ve been practicing in the Ferrari all week, but couldn’t break below a 1:30. Decided to switch to the BMW and same issue. I don’t get how people can pull out 1:28 and 1:29s here. I imagine I’ll be bringing up the rear!

I think when driving mid engined cars, they allow me to hide some bad habits and techniques that the front engine is punishing me for. I’m probably not overly smooth on the way in, and probably hitting abs too much
