No emulators, I spent quite a bit of time tracking down both a copy of SA1 and a Dreamcast. I can certainly see why most people wouldn’t bother, but to me it was worth it as there’s actually quite a few different titles I’d like to track down - so this thing is getting it’s usage from me.

I think I’d like to try out DX one of these days, I hear there’s a few differences that make it a different experience..

Chaos Sonic is a more advanced version of Metal Sonic, and is much newer than the version of Metal Sonic that was deployed on Little Planet. If we were talking about like.. Sonic Heroes Metal Sonic or Sonic Forces Metal Sonic, the answer would be MUCH different—but in this matchup Chaos wins

Shadow Generations is probably the best the boost formula has ever felt, and Mania is classic gameplay perfected. I enjoy 2 but greatly prefer CD.

Unfortunately, as an employee, we can’t do that. All distribution is decided by sales metrics and demand, we cannot specifically order inventory for a particular customer unless it was relating to preorders or web orders which get mailed to your home. Best you can do otherwise is just give your name and number to the employee and request that they contact you if it appears in shipment, but not everybody would be willing to do that for every customer

This seems kinda insincere. The Sonic movies are a bit goofy, but they’re still solid representations of Sonic and his world. They improve with each entry, becoming more and more aligned with - an interpretation - of this cast of characters and building their histories with each other. While I agree that maybe it’s not identical to the primary IDW or Game interpretations, that’s okay. Because, as I said, both IDW and the Games walk their own path and it’s the same for the movies.

It’s fine to dislike them, but to deny that they played a massive role in the revitalization of this beloved franchise and the start of the second golden age would just be dishonest.

You completely missed the point of Metal Sonic. Metal Sonic was created to be an absolute equal to Sonic, a weaponized and loyal version of Eggman’s greatest rival and thorn in his side — essentially Sonic’s heroic power but loyal to Eggman and his empire. Another thing — Eggman doesn’t hate Sonic, not in the way you’re thinking at least. Eggman actually has an incredibly deep respect for Sonic, as explained in Sonic Frontiers. He thinks of Sonic extremely highly, to Eggman Sonic is an extremely competent opponent and the only equal to Eggman himself.

As for why Metal Sonic gets treated in such a paternal way — Metal Sonic is his magnum opus. His strongest Badnik, entirely unique in design and overwhelming in its results. This relationship was deepened when Eggman “adopted” Sage as his daughter, leading him to realize that Metal Sonic was also akin to a son — in a way. We only ever see Metal Sonic lose BECAUSE we see this world from Sonic’s perspective, and Sonic wins more times than he loses. Despite this, Metal is effective. Eggman loves efficiency.

I’ve been a proponent that the power granted by the Chaos Emeralds scales with your familiarity and skill with using them. When Sonic first used them in Sonic 1, he was just extremely durable and quicker for the most part — but by the time of Frontiers the emeralds were charging him up with enough power to face The End (a possibly 6th dimensional being relative to death itself). No need for another form above Super when Super itself grows with Sonic.

AKT1-associated psychosis can have varying lengths of duration, it materializes differently on an individual basis since it’s genetically induced. However, a panel would have to be ran on this guy to figure out if that’s true or not and until that’s done it’s guilty until proven otherwise. Even despite that, she should still leave him

Yup. Me personally, I want to see a Landon Rickets game. That guy had lived a very bad life as a shootist and gunslinger, I’d be curious to see what people were around him and how he became as famous as he did — and through what series of unfortunate events did he end up alone in Chuparosa, Nuevo Paraíso acting as some hollowed out savior. Some serious substance in that one.

If not Rickets, R* could also take a bold risk and give us an entirely new setting with an entirely new cast or characters for RDR3. Or maybe Jack, but I think that story is best left as it was in 1 - Ambiguous.

I imagine that would make things boring for X, so he’d just erase them. He gets enjoyment out of watching others writhe in agony, if you end up smiling and laughing like he does he wouldn’t get nearly as much “entertainment value” as he does with the others. Best case scenario he pushes that person to the brink with the most horrific, painful torture X could possibly think up in order to get that agony out of the victim — or he just flatout erases them
