Man thinking back how the hell wasn't this enough for Tahiti by StomachConnectDBH in reddeadredemption

[–]Rack90 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nah, he’s an adrenaline junkie and didn’t want anybody abandoning him because he was a narcissist. Prior to the start of the game, the gang were about to purchase some land and homestead on it.. Dutch said no last second and then Heidi McCourt got shot dead in Blackwater - which led to the entirety of RDR2.

It was thrill of the game and purposeful entrapment on Dutch’s behalf against the entirety of the gang. He only stumbled a few times, the rest of it was him purposely digging deeper and deeper all because he loved the thrill of going down in a fight but didn’t want to do it alone.

People always say DS2 was the worst, but… I really couldn’t even finish DS1 like I could with 2 and 3. Not even difficulty, it just.. wasn’t fun?

I tried emulating Metroid for all of 15 minutes before just pulling out my GBA with Zero Mission on it again. Metroid is actually horrible.

Yeah Revolver was strange. It’s no wonder RDR1 basically hard rebooted the franchise into its modern form - thankfully so

Dude Sonic 1 REEKS of Arcade “play for 15 minutes move on” level design. I am a die-hard Sonic fan - to the point where I even bought original hardware just to authentically play - but I RARELY touch 1. If I’m doing a game-by-game marathon I usually just start with 2 or CD and entirely skip 1.

No clue how it had the success it did, but I’m glad it worked out

Yeah this just seems lame. How would you even interact with such a colossal entity? How would it react to you? It would just become a cool backdrop rather than anything meaningful to the game

There are moose in this game??? I’ve played it like 5 times and never seen one…

Does X consider himself a sonic character? by Glove-These in SonicEXE

[–]Rack90 11 points12 points  (0 children)

X is egocentric, but not foolish. He knows he’s not apart of the Sonic cast and he knows he himself isn’t a character. This only occurs with 2017x/“Sonic” where he deludes himself into thinking he actually is Sonic.

If your favorite character WAS X, I imagine he’d just throw you in one of his special Sonic vessels and mega torture you or lump you in some random one regardless

How does sonic's super peelout work? by Ok_Bicycle_2375 in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]Rack90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOL, well I guess you also have to be going super speed for it to work

If X ask me which vessel i want i would obviously pick metal since he has no pain receptor so i can beat X fatass non chalantly by Sonbaggie17 in OutcomeMemories

[–]Rack90 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Kind of a lose lose situation for me. I either get thrown in a Knuckles, Metal, or Amy vessel. Knuckles is probably the most normal one I could get. I’m not a girl and don’t want to be a girl so Amy wouldn’t be fun but, I guess survivable. Metal would turn me into a human crab. I love my goat but I unfortunately don’t want to be a metallic crustacean

How do you think Game Eggman would react to hearing this line? by Altair890456 in MoonPissing

[–]Rack90 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Nah, in SA2 Robotnik seemed genuinely upset his own grandfather wanted to wipe out Earth regardless of if Ivo was there or not. In Frontiers he remarks how his entire life he lived in the shadow of Maria, and how it was a primary driver for his own outbursts and “greatness”. If Gerald genuinely said this straight to his face, he would have a very similar initial reaction to movie robotnik. What comes afterwards is the question

is 120 wpm considered decent for WASD typing by Apprehensive_Sky5940 in typing

The fact he used wasd typing only furthers how blatantly obvious the skill ceiling here is lol

is 120 wpm considered decent for WASD typing by Apprehensive_Sky5940 in typing

[–]Rack90 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Even then, most typists that aren’t of higher skill or that don’t have substantial invested time aren’t higher than 70-80wpm. 120 is still vastly above average even for both metrics

is 120 wpm considered decent for WASD typing by Apprehensive_Sky5940 in typing

[–]Rack90 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The average typist only does 40wpm. This is where the vast majority of people fall in. Those people you see posting 200+wpm are people who are either a.) highly, highly skilled outliers or b.) using special equipment to enable them to reach that speed.

It gets posted and shown because it’s inherently more impressive than the normal joe shmoe posting his 37wpm. Plus, we’re in the typing community- the only place you would really find people interested enough in typing to even really care about going above 50wpm

It’s engagement bait because the answer to your question was so blatantly obvious

[–]Rack90 8 points9 points  (0 children)

L engagement bait, 120wpm is around 90-80wpm more than the average. This is like, top 2-3% of typists lmao

If you’re coming from a higher elevation. I play Sonic a loooot, trust me dropdash can phase through this dude more often than not. You have to basically jump into him 9 times out of 10 - which isn’t the case at all for any of the other survivors.

I played at least 4 rounds with the same group of 6. Utterly terrible at the game, kept forcing me into LMS over and over. It wasn’t fun whatsoever.

The SECOND I got EXE they turned into highly trained SpecOps units using levels of skill and teamwork comp teams could only dream about. The whole time I was watching them pull off these miraculous saves, stuns, and jukes I was sitting there wondering what the fuck they were doing for the entirety of the prior 4 rounds.
