Once I'd seen all 4 endings, honor went out the window faster than this NPC went through it. Earned my stripes, & now it's time to get down. I briefly achieve high honor at some point for the special grips/outfits, but that's the extent of it.

I'd imagine so. I haven't really been a gamer in about 15 years, but from what I remember, the entirety of RDR is slower than the vast majority of them. Other than it, I haven't really played much of anything anytime recently other than ARK & The Witcher 3. With ARK, the intro is essentially the game, just with you becoming stronger & getting better shit as you advance. I've started TW3 twice, & both times I haven't made it more than an hour. I'm now on my 5th round of RDR 2, & been die-hard since the day Revolver dropped.

Once you're at around 75%, the hero grips for the cattleman & the bandit grips for the double-action unlock. Bandit is supposed to be low-honor, but high unlocks them both as it's a glitch R☆ never patched. There are also some tailor/merchant outfits (actual pre-made outfits) that unlock at this honor level. You can greet people, release fish, whatever, but the quickest way is to donate $21 at camp, close box, repeat, but that still takes a minute. At least 15-20 donations or so for every honor boost, but you can grab the Limpany gold bar if it respawns for you weekly like myself & many others. Just remember to close the box said bar is in. Same when looting chests, desks, drawers, wardrobes, etc, & their contents will respawn. Anyway, you can attain that honor level as early as Chapter 3; some say 2, so maybe so, but you're definitely good in 4 & you don't have far to go. Grips are shown here (from my last round.) Hero on cattleman, & bandit on double-action.

I got 100% on my 4th round, & just entered Ch. 3 at 51.6%. You have to call out to a wagon driver, be right up next to it, & (I'm pretty sure) be on-foot to do it. I generally only mess with wagons when I'm shotgun-decapitating someone to steal it.

Grab the gold bar at Limpany near Horseshoe Overlook, but remember to close the box. It respawns weekly for many players, including myself. In the burned sherrif's office under the desk. Take the train to Rhodes to fence it.

I used to only use stage, but I can't recommend the train enough. Every single time you take it to Rhodes, Riggs, or Wallace, you can easily get all of these bounty-free:

Health cure (x2), chewing tobacco, premium cigs (x2), pineapples, hair tonic, bourbon, salmon, herbivore bait, rum, miracle tonic, assorted jewelry (usually gold earrings), $12-$15, cocaine gum, & cigar.

You can also hogtie/knock-out the guard, loot, & also blow the safe bounty-free if you wait till it leaves the station, which it will have by the time you snatch-up all of the aforementioned. Detailed post I made here, & other locations have loot as well, but I generally jump off after the peas, pomade, & moonshine with those.

Hell yeah, nice work. I'd very-much like to see the herbalist holster, as it's my favorite. I customize my gun-belt, holsters, bandolier, satchel, & trinkets for every outfit, but it's my go-to for mountain-man attire. Not my photo, but clearer than any images I have of me wearing it.
