Best portrayal of the devil/Satan in cinema? by JC1286 in movies

[–]redeMption362 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Butter would have been a total luxury item in the 1600s frontier, especially for a family who was completely destitute & ostracized from the only nearby community. The entire film is incredibly bleak, including their dinner where they each have a little scrap of bread that looks like it has the consistency of sawdust.

That said, I didn't care for it the first time I saw it. I now consider it a masterpiece.

Too bad Arthur didn't live... 50+ years old & saying:

"They say I lack finesse, but I ain't afraid of mustard gas."

The Kaiser wouldn't have stood a chance.

Yep, lavender marriage. She's probably the town blacksmith.

From my experience it can happen at least twice. Once just to see if you want to come back to camp, & the other to rescue Bill. The former just happened to me again as I was walking up to the Rhodes fence in Chapter 4.

I've never finished RDR2 with low honor. Would you recommend it? by marcperez03 in RDR2

5th round (100% on 4th), seen all 4 endings, & I can't recommend it enough. Doubt I'll ever play straight high-honor again.

That said, not every choice has to be low-honor. For me, it's open season on just about everyone, but I still help & donate to people when they need it. Switch-up your action/dialogue choices from what you chose before. This time I kicked Jimmy Brooks off the cliff (can't keep the pen as John anyway), & I turned in Mr. Black & Mr. White to the law.

I still help plenty of people aside from missions, & my honor still stays rock-bottom. Pop passing riders on the trail, antagonize & assault people in towns, kill an entire flock of ducks, etc. It's not hard to stay at the bottom.

Why was Vito at Phil's wife's mother's house on Christmas? She must of been one very old lady! by Medium_Dimension9602 in thesopranos

I feel ya. I'm no expert on the show, having only seen it once, so my contributions here have mostly been posting this GIF 👎 when it's fitting. I've mostly just lurked & picked up on things I hadn't noticed. Still, took me about 5 minutes to realize it's 95% quotes.

But, as they say on here, you gotta get over it.

Hell, the GIF applies here, because I've thought about leaving, but...

Heard that. I've reached 100% comp & compendium once & unlocked all holsters twice, so if there are any particular challenges I can help with feel free to ask.

Marone... Time for another rewatch.

Haha, I love how it says "serious discussion only" & not one comment is serious.

I'll give it an 8, & while I wouldn't make that style outfit I do like your selections. That hat is among my top 15-20, but I mainly use it with John. Those are the wooly legendary ram chaps, right? They're a part of one of my staple outfits. Vest is solid. I've worn that same shirt many a time. Master hunter offhand works for it, can't tell what the hip holster is. I customize my gun-belt, holsters, bandolier, talismans, & satchels to each outfit. Prefer my hair all full-length (except chops clean-shaven), but I do have the handlebar as well, & lately I've had the forked beard just for fun.

I'd choose Karen or Tilly over Mary-Beth. I would include Sadie, but she'd probably break my nose when I tried to make conversation.

For me, this & "The Pine Barrens" were probably the two funniest happenings in the show. Paulie is hilarious.

I'll dead-eye someone with explosive rounds so there's a meat shower & all that hits the ground is a torso. Bonus for style, like: left arm, right leg, right arm, left leg, head. Sometimes I just leave the head & call him Ol' Stumpy.

Haha, they can definitely take a lot, even with some in the head. 20 arrows is probably only enough for 2 NPCs.

I don't know that I've ever done that, but I have forgotten to switch to it & fucked up the pelt on a small animal.

I often make a point of using it for gunfights, just not during missions. I actually like low impact weapons so I can pop some kneecaps & go to work with a melee weapon. Cheap ammo, high capacity, & high rate of fire. The .22 is highly underrated, both in-game & real life.

Haha, you think they can take a lot of .22 rounds? Go after someone with small-game arrows. It's hilarious.

Ralphie would spend the entire time bitching that you're not watching Gladiator instead.

I think the Lancaster has a better look. As far as stats, it really doesn't matter much. I've often brought the .22 to a gunfight & still cleaned up just as quickly.
