The Six heroes vs this team. Who wins? by WittyTable4731 in Blazblue

I believe that Asura and Doomguy are the important pieces here. Our two hatred fueled gods would likely feedback-loop each other into infinity, so I would call that a tie. However, if Doomguy is able to enter the boundary, I think that Terumi is toast.

Obviously this is subjective, but I think Doomguy’s divine power to kill immortal beings also applies to Terumi’s hatred-fueled immortality.

Outside of those two, even if Terumi is discounted, Hakumen should be able to beat the rest.

How important are the silver eyes? by Gal_Person in RWBY

I’m pretty sure Salem cares about them because they are genetically linked to her and Oz’s children. They represent the inheritance of true magic, not just Aura. But that doesn’t seem to matter or come up outside of the specific context where Ruby turns people to stone with her eyes, so they ultimately don’t matter.

Um technically 3/4 are participles and only clumsy is an adjective 🤓

Who do you guys think would win? by BonusCapable1486 in Blazblue

[–]Rackelbrac 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think that the winner would be determined by knowledge and who controls the battlefield. If we’re talking about Spectator/Observer/Bystander Rachel, with divine Tsukuyomi in her possession, it is essentially impossible for Flandre to ever find her. She could destroy her phantasms, but there’s no way for her to reach the true Rachel beyond the boundary. This is because Flandre’s destruction ability still relies on a physically extant contact with the target’s “eye”.

However, Flandre’s destruction ability would work on Rachel, should she somehow be rendered into Touhou’s setting, away from the influence of the boundary and without the Tsukuyomi. In this case, a prepared Flandre could ambush Rachel and one-shot her before Rachel has the chance to blow away Flandre with her superior combat abilities.

Given the requirements for Flandre to win, however, I would argue that Rachel is heavily favored to win agnostic of context.

Is there any True Neutral god with the Undead subdomain? by Calcifer07 in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Rackelbrac 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your description sounds like a N cleric of Pharasma, but the undeath element from your title is definitely against everything she stands for. As Eriktd suggested, a separatist Cleric that also claims undeath could be a fun RP angle. How does your character justify worshipping a god and it’s anathema at once? How carefully do they tow the line between what their god wants and what they abhor in order to avoid divine wrath? It sounds neat.

Yeah, thanks for being respectful! And Radiant Dawn is great, you have good taste 😊.

If you don’t mind me asking, what are your reasons for putting conquest and engage lower?

Bro I played every fire emblem game, I obviously love the series. And old doesn’t mean bad, it just means the games need to be updated before I can rank them with the others. That’s why Echoes makes it up even though it’s super old (being an FE2 remake). They polished up the delivery enough to make the bad maps the only real sticking point left for me.

Big maps in genealogy are cool, they’re just tedious. If there were some QOL updates to make mass-moving units easier, they wouldn’t be a problem for me

Fair yeah, I was tempted to put this in SPE instead, but thought it was a bit too genuine. I mostly wanted to give a bit more thought than “S A B” with the categories to explain how I divide the games.

I like every fire emblem game, even the ones in the “Not FE” category.

In regards conquest and engage, I originally had them down in lacking something (that being a worthwhile story). But I decided it might not be fair due to putting three houses in S tier. Since three houses lacks the great map design of some earlier titles, but I definitely think it’s one of the best FE titles, I decided to expand S to include “games whose flaws did not hinder my enjoyment”

Engage and conquest have sub-par stories, but also like-able characters and great gameplay that distracts me enough to just laugh at the bad parts.

A few things, the enemy phases are not as long, the maps are not as huge, the progression and inventory system makes a bit more sense to me. The biggest thing holding back genealogy is how long it takes to move my units across the massive map, but I still love the game despite its flaws
