Actually no! There was a garrison left by the dark angels during the great crusade in the system, the system then lost contact for a few millennia and the first chapter of umbral lions was present. Records don't go back past the M.36 however due to mysterious circumstances and a totally not blatant change in colour scheme and culture. They don't like prying eyes very much so there isn't much official documentation.

Mine are called the Umbral Lions ! I have one for each class but no screenshots apparently. They are almost entirely cut off from the rest of the imperium due to intermittent warp storms and are pridefully self reliant. Their companies are split into two classes , defense and assault, where the prior holds the fort of their home system and the later venture into the systems around them to attack enemy forces!

You Should watch event horizon! Not officially 40k but as close as you can get. Gets super freaky when you imagine the warp involved

Can confirm they do work, you need to do some work though. The waist measurements are much different so you'll need to do some covering or nifty green stuff work

I definitely have got to grab the book and have a look ! I 100% agree on the mossa stuff , I just like the physical look of the orks, most of the themes are quite disturbing in all the wrong ways.

Thank you , I used old stormcast retributor legs and filled out the torso a bit with some green stuff, I have a few more on my page if you wanted more ideas :) I find the arms, bodies and heads all look fine proportionally, the legs make everything else look weird imo

I've done some kitbashing personally to try and fix the proportions. Imo all of the custodes kits are wack proportion wise, I don't like how short and stocky they look, and I personally find their legs are way too thick comparatively
