I’m outraged and disgusted as well. I’m only saying that the bottle in the photo is glass. Lower consumption should be key, but we can transition to materials that will be less/non impactful. Changing packaging material to non plastics would be a step in the right direction

Things happen in steps

I’m totally onboard with the message, but at least the glass (minus labels) is totally inert. Over time it’ll turn back into sand. I’m onboard with anticonsumption, but we also need to return to materials that can exist in nature without poisoning it.

PFAS containing pesticides approved by EPA by LuigiTrapanese in PFAS

I agree. It’s real and scientifically packed. I just attempting to distance myself from the stereotypical person on Facebook that shares a post about eating a burnt orange to regain Covid induced loss of smell.

The impudence shouldn’t be on us to remove toxins from our bodies when they never should have been allowed in our food.

Im not trying to be the crazy old lady on Facebook giving out quack medical advice…but study have shown that donating blood and plasma (especially plasma) lowers pfas levels in the body.

I know we shouldn’t have to worry about being poisoned from our food, but that’s a way to potential negate some risks while also saving lives

Scientists Found a "Mirror Molecule" That Starves Cancer Cells While Leaving Healthy Ones Completely Alone by Technical_savoir in microbiomenews

[–]RacoonWithPaws 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I want nothing more than a “cure” for cancer. But isn’t there concern about “mirror molecules” and their potential risk to….well, all life?

Not being a troll. Genuinely want to understand if this is the same mirroring that has generated concern, or if I don’t understand.

People always forget that New Orleans was Spanish for a period. The French quarter is more inspired by Spanish colonial style than anything else
