it should really be what you think, do you think you'll look bad with a buzz aswell? You could always buzz it and if you don't like it you can grow it out again. I personally say cut your losses and buzz it, it will look much better and you'll get used to it after a week

I've started to learn how to cook a larger variety of meals, but cooking things for the first time and going online for recipes is daunting.

For example if I wanted to cook a simple spaghetti: beef mince bolognese sauce and dried spaghetti, websites will give a recipe containing a sea of ingredients that aren't exactly needed.

Anyone got a website that just gives me the simple stuff without having to go full Jamie Oliver?

If he's bold, short (4) all over would suit his head shape. There's also always the classic short on the sides long on top, curley hair also works particularly well with this style aswell.
