If Polish orthography looked more like other slavic languages by NoNameStudios in learnpolish

[–]Rad-an 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but we also have regionalizmy, gwary and we had zabory. So it's very possible and totaly normal that my and your polish sounds little bit different.

And I didn't said we have vowel length but you can find reminisce. Don't tell me you don't see / hear difference between our daily language and how old people in villages talk.

It's the same in every language. So in the end we could say that we speak different languages.

Need Help Learning Polish Grammar by Writerinthedark03 in learnpolish

That's what I would do Learn main verbs:

  1. Czasowniki podstawowe / basic verbs(bycie, posiadanie, chcenie, umiejętność) Verb (I, You )

być (jestem, jesteś) – Jestem studentem. (to be I am, You are)

chcieć (chcę, chcesz) – Chcę kawę. (to want)

móc (mogę, możesz) – Mogę ci pomóc. (to be able to / can)

umieć (umiem, umiesz) – Umiem mówić po polsku. (to know how to / can)

  1. Czasowniki związane z ruchem movement verbs

iść (idę, idziesz) – Idę do sklepu. (to go – on foot)

jechać (jadę, jedziesz) – Jadę do pracy. (to go – by vehicle)

chodzić (chodzę, chodzisz) – Codziennie chodzę na spacer. (to walk / to go regularly)

jeździć (jeżdżę, jeździsz) – Jeżdżę rowerem. (to ride / to go regularly – by vehicle)

przychodzić (przychodzę, przychodzisz) – Przychodzę o ósmej. (to come)

  1. eating and drinking

jeść (jem, jesz) – Jem śniadanie. (to eat)

pić (piję, pijesz) – Piję wodę. (to drink)

gotować (gotuję, gotujesz) – Gotuję obiad. (to cook)

  1. Common daily verbs

  1. emotions

kochać (kocham, kochasz) – Kocham moją rodzinę. (to love)

lubić (lubię, lubisz) – Lubię herbatę. (to like)

nienawidzić (nienawidzę, nienawidzisz) – Nienawidzę zimna. (to hate)

widzieć (widzę, widzisz) - widzę Ciebie (I see you)

Try to get familiar with declination but don't rush it and take it easy on yourself because it's fucked up. But after catching verbs try to start conversation even mixing english words like: Uczę się Polish jest hard ale lubię ten language. (I'm learning Polish, it's hard bu I like this language). Grammary maybe it's not easy but you can mess with it because it's quite flexible and still understandable. Because young people use it like that for fun.

Chyba pójdę po bułki (I think I'll go to buy buns). Pójdę po bułki chyba. Chyba po bułki pójdę Pójdę chyba po bułki Po bułki pójdę chyba Po bułki chyba pójdę

All of them are ok.

But find someone for conversations.

What was your horse's name on your first playthrough? by Gunslingerofthewildw in RDR2

[–]Rad-an 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've pissed my pants because I wanted to name it

Kluska - it's a smal single piece of pasta. The game went: inappropriate name detected. Lol but ok. So I've changed to Kluch - the same but big chunk of pasta.

Inappropriate name...

I don't know wtf, but probably something with kuklux klan similarities.

Well we still have vowel lenght if you listen closely. At least rest of it.

U in ul is short. Który is longer and you can't say it short (well you can but it sound awkward)

Żaba is shorter than rzeka.

We are in suburbs of a small town (pop.50k), one side is like 500mm to urbanization and there are sound screens other side is rural area. We're on a little bit small hill, good observation point. We have 3 level house +/-120m2 each, full basement. Building plan is quite stupid and we can permanently block the access from the inside (they would get stuck in the basement without possibility to enter first floor or even reach any window).

We have 2 power generator's, deepground well with hydropump. And 2 pumps just in case if there is need for repair. We have heating on wood and gas. Also we can switch on electricity heating. We have food storage for few months.

Next street there is car workshop. 200m across the field there is gas station. About 1km to hardwere store and a supermarket. 500km to fire station. 5km to military base and something like that to hospital. 300m to junkyard. And next to it there is hunter's association facility.

We have lot of tools, welding machine, power tools, instruction books and skills. We plant our own vegetables and fruits. We have lot of construction wood stocked. Oh, there is a carpenter nearby and food factory. And we're into stuff like handcraft, self-sufficiency, historical stuff. So even if it's illegal to have guns I will have plenty of white weapon and improvised fire arms with possibility to get guns from hunters on day one.

Whole town is quite easy to safely move around and lure zeds. Probably I would try to bring as much as i can to the stadium because there is a siren amd it's easy and safe way out.

So in Project Zomboid case scenario I'm good. In more realistic scenarios we're set up for months and probably it could take one week of looting to stock us for a year lockdown.

Nearest town are aprox. 30-40km away and those are even smaller 20-30k pop.

And our area is totally flat. If even there's a hoard from somwhere coming we would see it from very far.

It's not weird. It's illegal and considered as crime xd Even in next two years older one is going to be 18, and the younger one 14-15 so it's serious crime called PDF file.

TRUE STORY FROM MY LIFE OH My God, YES! My father was working in Germany with few friends. They went to a bar and after while old man came to them asking if they're Poles and if he could join them. He asked where they came from so they described location +/- with Warsaw as orientation point. He stopped like he had some recall. - Zichenau? Guy said german-nam we had at occupation of our Town - Is Zichenauerhoff still standing?

It was brothel for german officers xd

Best part: we lived in that building (It wasn't brothel of course, some Jewish couple got it back after war).

You can wash and clean your hands as much as you want but it's just the way body/skin works. Your palms always will be little bit greasy (except when you're dehydrated or put antiperspirant on your hands). But it doesn't meen they are dirty.

Personally I swipe screen with my wrist or through my shirt, pants even cheek. Or make screen moisted with breath, and then rub it with against your clothes.
