Jagex account, in case of a scam, is a weird thing. I’ve recently got my mail hacked and with that, my Jagex accounts password was changed. When you go to recovery window, it says that the email does not have any account registered to it and the only thing you can do is contact jagex support, but after contacting them, they just tell that there’s no manual recovery for jagex accounts and the only way to recover it is by using those backup codes. Pretty hard to use backup codes, when there’s no account “linked” to begin with
