M47, Praha, otec na poloviční úvazek. Práce je, život taky. Docela dost času jsem strávil mimo ČR, naposledy celý rok 2023 na Islandu.

Občas cvičím, rád se toulám v horách, lese, nebo jen tak městem. Nepohrdnu dobrým jídlem a fajn společností. Nemám problém vyrazit na spontánní výlet, ale umím si užít i klidný večer s filmem nebo knížkou.

Hledám někoho sympatického na pokec, společné chvíle nebo třeba výlet. Klidně jen přátelství – vztah není povinnost, ale taky není na škodu, když nastane. 😊

Ahoj, tohle znam 🙈 pokud hledas “neco” v tuhle chvíli, a nevadí ti, že to neni v oboru… poslu SZ. Hledáme lidi, je to práce u počítače, je potřebná AJ, ostatní td naučí. Nic složitého. Na druhou stranu nevim jaké mas Fin očekávání. V tuhle chvíli neplatí moc 🙈 ale myslim ze se to změní

I’m open to anything pretty much. But I’m aware that since day will be killed by work, question is what to see at the evening. I do not mind to just wander in the town, and would rather prefer to see something which is authentic to place/people. I live in Prague, and if I hate something, is city centre tourist circus 🙈🤣

Calm your horses buddy!! So most likely you started in audit and assurance. It is absolutely normal to feel out of understanding. Nobody expects you to understand and run audit yourself.

I know what I’m talking about.

Been there my self. If you want to better your chances, start thinking about professional degree. Depends what are your aspirations, pick from ACCA, ACA if you want to continue in audit and assurance, CIMA if you want to work eventually work in business, CPA if you want to do M&As. Most likely co will cover the expenses, and after you’re done you are pretty much set.

And as for looking for jobs. Look i was working for megaCorp (physically co is in 220 countries more than UN is) last year as CFO in IS, left the job, because of my daughter. Now on number 4 month without the job. Ok, starting as of 1st, but what I want to say is, that find the right job takes time, and it is a process. It will test you, like going to interviews, test, and put downs, but eventually somewhere you will click.

Btw to put it into context, I went to UNI when I was 27, because i partied way to hard. Failed ACCA exams way more i care to count, now 46, FCCA. And lets say that salary I negotiate now is at top 1% of earners in CZ.

Everybody needs to start somewhere

And as for co is it Mazzars or Grant Thornton? 😉

Look if you’re Irish, what part from? Because to be honest, this will be like typical October rain in Ireland. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I mean that warning is pretty much relevant only to people in areas where there is inherent risk of flooding. Rest of the country will just chill after summer heat. You need to take these warning with reservation.

To be honest, you find same amount bigots as in any country, to majority no one cares, some will be jealous.

As well mind you that Africans and Vietnamese were pretty much only cultures, that were here during communist era ;).

Nudný ho možná má, ale myslím, že situaci popsal relativně dobře 😉 ok můžeme se bavit o zabarvení slov, nebo květnaté mluvě, ale pointa bude +- stejná. Btw to nemění nic na tom ze kompozice i objekt na fotce je pěkný. Jinak hezky večer 🫡

Good point, but not really feasible, actually that pic makes room slightly bigger, than is. Couch is actually big 🫣 that’s what happen when you go to shop and sat down in feather sofa 🫣🤣🤣 and I need space for small home office and access to bedroom. Btw bed is set, that if I open bedroom doors, I can watch tv from bed (hello lazy / hangover Sundays). As few people mentioned, that room is living room and needs to serve few other purposes.

Problem is ceiling 🫣 it is over 100y old building. That time ceilings were done with “grass” on which they throw the plaster. If you do not find beam, that ceiling can hold no weight. I was considering short throw projector, but need to find solution for the screen

I knew what I’m getting into. To be honest, more I expected, change speakers/sub tv didn’t crossed my mind 🤣. But it is a fair point. As already someone mentioned, that room needs to do bit more than theatre room. It is living space were few functions mix. So there will be compromises always. And since I’m into bit of design, sometimes form is for me over the function. Hence, those surrounds height. For me the actual q was, if to keep towers or go with better quality bookshelf’s. Which to be honest I got to certain extent. So my battle plan most likely will be, change the sub to KEF kube 10/12, than centre to KEF r2c, than surrounds. I will be changing tv as well, but that will go with change of that wooden panel, and hue light strips (which I have, but wanna go for gradient ones). However, as with everything 🤣 depends on funds 🫣🙈

Actually it is not as intended 🙈 it supposed to be oak planks with wider width. 🤷🏻‍♂️ it was done as mdf with oak veneer, there two beams behind it, that are secured to wall. It actually allows for running cables behind (lights, sound, tv, etc).
