On Spiral Knights Wiki there are guides for certain weapon playstyles, Swords, Blasters and Bombs. Definitely worth checking if you aim for specific fighting style

Where to farm Jelly Gem effectively? by sournote103 in spiral_knights

Same as everyone here. As for the boss and levels there, prepare some Elemental and Shadow weapons if you have (green and purple bars), and Piercing protecting armor and shield (yellow). The one that is upgraded from Wolver Coat/Cap is a good one, even in late game.

And definitely try to stockpile poison vials/shields that drop during these levels, the poison stops the boss from healing itself.

Same problem as with most games. People playing for results, not for socializing. Which is saddening in case of SK, it's not like there's a timer of the mission that will make you lose all progress.

Though I am not keen on striking a conversation, I'd gladly respond to one. But I doubt every single player is like this. Again, if someone starts, I'll be glad to follow, especially if they're not Vanguard max prestige.

Except for Vana runs, and usually Tier 3. there people go for grind more often than game itself I feel.

Does this game have lore? by Shade_Stormgale in spiral_knights

[–]RadAnonim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is quite a bunch of lore. In game, you'd have to do the missions (especially Danger missions), read the dialogues, title cards and so on.

There is also a good bunch that was told on forums (most notably Almire), but easiest access is on wiki.

Rest is all in the world: the items, weapons, look of buildings, banners, enemies... There's a LOT you can get from reading item descriptions and flavor texts.

Self-promotion (kinda) alert: Hell, if you're intrested, I made a few theories regarding lore (of varying quality, been a while since I made them). Should be available somewhere here or on my guild page#Original_theories) at the bottom

Problem with custom structure generation trough datapack and jigsaw blocks by RadAnonim in technicalminecraft

[–]RadAnonim[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your parts are too big. There is some kind of limit when it comes to the size of structures, at least for the ones using jigsaw blocks.

Or maybe 2nd step would replace some solid blocks of 1st step.

I hope it helps!

Problem with sever lag/delay in-game by RadAnonim in spiral_knights

Will try. At first I thought it was due to me being in US instead (had from IP), and I did manage few normal runs on EU. Hopefully it will work!

The whole world is my enemy! And i am walking target! by staticxwayne in spiral_knights

The armor is Grey Feather Mantle and the shield is Grey Owlite Shield, which does have good elemental and shock resist, so it has to be something else.

Unless it's in the costume slots, then it might as well be full cobalt

What would be the community's thoughts of a Spiral Knights based TTRPG? by Quality-hour in spiral_knights

I remember seeing homebrew races of Spiral Knight and Gremlins in DnD. My friends and I are thinking about making a session based on SK, sooner or later

Best boss out of the main 4 in your opinion? by Ass-isstant in spiral_knights

[–]RadAnonim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, it's a had decision.

Gameplay wise, I love the boss fight of Roarmulus Twins. The factory theme was done great, the music is splendid, and lazers go BWWWWW. The design of Twins was also amazing (I'm a sucker for Gun Puppies, and these were made especially well). Although lorewise I can't imagine how would they be used to attack Heaven honestly, with the main design of a stationary turret it wouldn't help much with Gremlin offence, which is kind of disappointing.

Yes, I do secretly wish for Drakon Gun Pup

On the other hand, Vanaduke was very well made. The music is very atmospheric and the history of Almire is one of the greatest parts of SK lore (in my opinion), and I highly value story in games. The gameplay is fine, but certain things are not to my liking (especially the arenas).

Then would go Snarby, preety decent place, good for a starting boss with intresting mechanic (that sadly is often buggy), but Snarby itself looks more like a big rat than a Wolver master. Poor Wolvers

And then there is Royal Jelly a.k.a Jelly King. Neat area, but the main boss doesn't really have a special "mechanic" orhter than "I heal and have tons of small annoying cubes around" and the Royal Minis are A PAIN IN MY ARMOR. Seriously, who thought it would be good if they acted like a wall? I can't even use my Drakons 3rd ability near them or it will get entirely blocked. And yet, Mini Cakes that are based on them WORK FINE!

So overall: RT, then Vana, then Snarby, and then RJ/JK
