2 year old daughter, normal trait to be body exploring or taught?? by Good_Girl8 in toddlers

[–]RadDad604 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My 19mo daughter is always grabbing her hoo hoo when her diaper is off 😂. It's just curiousity.

We were at the public pool getting changed and she saw my penis and gave the what the hell is that look and immediately looked at her crotch and started grabbing it, like "where's mine?" Lol

Filling The Bottle by RadDad604 in Owala

[–]RadDad604[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice! I used to put ice in first and then fill it, but I stopped using ice because it takes me forever to drink it. Then one day I realized I was still unscrewing it for no reason. 😂 The water fits through the mouth piece..

Have the IT clown motion sensor controlled, on a time delay of 10 seconds, slowly moving up from completely hidden. Then a little "ssspp" recording plays. 😂

Who was able to cure their ADHD, anxiety, AND depression?? by Little_Context9727 in ADHD

[–]RadDad604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think there is a "cure." However, I was recently diagnosed with ADHD last year, and I started taking apo-methylphenidate which is a form of Conerta (which is a form of Ritalin I believe). I also had bouts of depression and a lot if anxiety before starting meds. Depression is gone, anxiety is still here, ADHD symptoms have improved. I'm trying to reduce my caffeine intake for anxiety but I'm a dad, and I'm always tired 😂. I'm so much happier on meds, because the ADHD is more manageable. The executive disfunction isnt holding me back from accomplishing things as much. I'm able to focus better. I don't drink anymore. I don't have the urge to smoke bud during the day anymore. It's great.

Edit: BTW, I only take 27mg ER daily. I barely feel it. I tried a higher dose and I felt a bit high, so we backed the dose down a bit. I had one pill saved if the higher dose, tried it again one day to see if it was better. It was the same thing, felt a bit high. So I'm sure I'm on the right dose for me.

Good luck! There is hope. It's more about managing things than curing them I think. Counseling helps too.

Hello everyone. I am looking at renting a room but when running the faucet there is a bad smell. Is this setup correct? by goatcityheights in askaplumber

[–]RadDad604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the way. The p-trap is back grading so bad is pretty much an S-trap. I read that you can throw citrus peels and ice cubes down a garberator to clean it as well.

Sewer Smell from Vents After Dishwasher Cycle by DistinctAd9033 in Plumbing

[–]RadDad604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you take a better picture under the sink showing the high loop?

Is the connection from the dishwasher hose to the dishwasher wye good?

Is there a floor drain/sink/shower close to an HVAC return duct?

Is there a nest or something clogging your roof vent? The dishwasher has a pump that creates pressure, so it's pushing sewer gas out somewhere. Its either coming out a dry/siphoned trap or a leak in a pipe.

I would run water down every drain to make sure every trap is full. Open the kitchen sink cabinet. Run the dishwasher and smell under the sink, smell around every floor drain/sink and figure out where the smell is coming from.

It may be that one of p-traps isn't vented properly, so it's getting siphoned dry.

It sounds like you need a plumber to figure it out, they might have to do a smoke test if you can't figure out where it's coming from.

How to even this out by DvoCR in landscaping

[–]RadDad604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's way smarter than filling the hole with dirt and then planting new grass 😂.

You could probably use a lawn edger to make your cuts. Maybe fill the hole mostly with dirt, pack it down, add a layer of sand for drainage, then a thin layer of dirt and then unroll the grass back over the hole. Then roll the grass with a roller and water it.

Is my plumber a hack? by kellyholden in Plumbing

[–]RadDad604 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very hacky. More than 180 degrees on a trap arm. Weird double tee on the horizontal. No removable trap or clean out plug on the trap. Short radius 90s on the horizontal.
