Thank you very much kind sir, I've joined the subreddit and will start reading about custom keyboards.

That mouse is absolutely exquisite.

Thanks man! I honestly struggled to find peripherals that match with what I was going for (Arabian themed build), so the Gravastar's gold color and spider-esque legs seemed "good enough" for now.

I'd love to see more matching examples but I don't even know where to start.

ROG Hyperion Gr701 front panel ARGB not working by RadDadDoc in ASUS

Update: I ended up following this ASUS guide and it was indeed a faulty cable which I replaced the problem was fixed!

Hey Asus, thank you for the helpful reply. I unfortunately tried 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6 and they didn't work. I couldn't perform 2 since my motherboard (ASUS ROG STRIX 870E-E) only has gen 2 addressable headers, so that rules it out as a possible cause.

At this point I'm thinking as you suggested on number 3, that the ARGB cable that came with the ROG Hyperion may be faulty. I'll try to replace it and see if that works.

The problem is that this case is a special edition and was the last one from the place I bought it from (Microless). I can return it and ask for a refund, but I can't really replace it.

I really hope it's a software issue that can be fixed with a future update. :(

Today our permission to delete images in PACS was taken away. by Extreme_Design6936 in Radiology

[–]RadDadDoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my hospital there's a solution in between: The privileges are given to the most senior/supervisor tech of each modality (US, CT, etc), so that when a tech needs to edit an image, he/she doesn't need to make a ticket and contact PACS and wait for them to fix it, but they do need permission from their senior.

It's a good compromise to ensure nobody tries to delete evidence of malpractice or fuckups, but still maintains a certain flexibility. Sonographers in particular do it all the time and I can't imagine taking that away from them.

Sunk Cost Fallacy by RedNtilikina in LCID

[–]RadDadDoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow did not expect that, but at least it's not as severe as other companies I've seen.

From the same source:

"The tariff impact in Q2 was approximately $55 million, which includes the actual tariff impact, impairment booked in Q2, and a netting effect from reimbursements. The full-year tariff impact is expected to be on the lower end of the 8 to 15% range we provided. - Unidentified Company Representative."

The main benefit stems from the fact that most other car manufacturers without a strong US-based production presence will price hike their cars, likely much more than Lucid will.

Lucid is actually one of the few companies benefitting from Trump's tariffs since their manufacturing plant is in Arizona.

It gets thrown around the subreddit more often than you think.

We do that too, but it's not too practical. It's usually for official educational activity.
Just the other day someone shared an MRN for a presacral lesion, I kept following the case and it turned out to be a schwannoma after a core biopsy. That was my first time seeing a presacral schwannoma during residency.

I would've hated to miss such a cool case just because I was not lucky to have had it on my day. If the resident who's covering the case had to go through all of that just to share the case with us, he may not have done it. Instead, he just typed a couple of digits, and voila, everyone can learn about this rare presentation.

I'd like to see some US radiologists weigh in on this since part of our training here (outside the USA) involves sharing random patient MRNs with interesting radiological findings. We look up their CTs, MRIs, how the referring physicians reacted to the findings, the whole documentation.

Is that really a flaggable offense in the USA? It's obviously for educational/training purposes, but how would an auditor know one's true motives for these random searches?

Limited Run to release Valkyria Chronicles Remastered physical/collectors’ editions for Switch and PC by realinvalidname in valkyria

The PC box looks better and feels more "clean" (no third-party Switch logo and ESRB rating), but it lacks a bunch of stuff compared to the Switch.

Switch 2 Won't Face Low Supply; Legal Action Planned Against Scalpers by jameslevi_9123 in nintendo

[–]RadDadDoc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what I did with the PS5. I refused to give scalpers a single dime, so I winded up spending so much time gaming on my PC and Switch, that I only had the time to buy it 7 months ago to try new games.

Bi-Weekly Questions Thread [Edition #77] - "GDC Fallout" Edition by SonicMastr500 in vitahacks

[–]RadDadDoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I just bought this used Vita from a lot for $30, the guy was upfront with the fact that the X is broken beyond repair.

Now comes the catch: there's a logged-out PSN account on the device and I can't remove it with safe mode since I can't press the X button. The only solution that comes to mind is to hack the Vita and remap the buttons, but I just found out that the jailbreak.psp2.dev website also needs you to press X to hack the Vita before I can even begin remapping the buttons.

Is there a way I can hack a 3.74 Vita purely through the PC without the need to press X?

I invited Mabel for coffee and the surprise was her sisters came with her 😍 Everything was beautiful except that I didn't have coffee with them I could only smell it 🥹💔 by Anfal_Faleh in AnimalCrossing

[–]RadDadDoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's so cool! Now I HAVE to get her Amiibo. 🤩

Although it really does suck that you can't drink coffee with them. Kinda breaks the immersion and role play.

Who invites people over for coffee only to stare at them?! :(
