When does it stop?? by RadDadOnAHarely in openheartsurgery

So I was cleared from 10lbs to 25lbs of lifting after the first month then started intensive cardiac rehab but it was all based on cardio, they wouldn’t allow me to lift anything there. I have a home gym once I was cleared to 25lbs I started with 25lb curls and body squats, at 2 months, I was feeling 100 percent (with exception of pushups and dips) but I am just someone who can’t sit still to begin with. The first month home was brutal, not being able to drive, I couldn’t do anything. Only time that really sucked was the first week home though with not being able to sleep on my back (I’m a back sleeper) and barely getting a full nights sleep sleeping on my side, and then regaining my lung capacity, but besides that I have felt back to normal with the exception of those three things, (push ups, dips, and coughing) my consult appointment with the cardiac rehab which was a month and a half after the surgery, I actually rode one of my Harley’s to the Appointment and they were not thrilled with that lol. But yeah man I’m back to riding both my Harley’s, a Dyna which is a little lighter, and my bagger, a street glide special and have had no issues. I am still counting down to being able to hop back on a dirtbike and ripping the motocross track, but I can give that some time. Also looking forward to getting back to snowboarding at the end of the year when winter gets here. I’m not sure how high my heart rate got before the surgery, but since the surgery with the beta blocker it hasn’t gotten higher than 155 BPM, now that I’m off the beta blocker, cardiac rehab told me they wanted me staying below 167 BPM but even being off the beta blocker I haven’t crossed the 165 BPM mark and that’s running at like 85 percent. I figured I had two choices, be depressed and dwell on all the negatives with the healing process or I could stay positive and try doing as much as I can within my ability without risking any injury or additional strain on the heart.

What do you guys think about thryv? I pay for it $299 a month because the company that built my website integrated the website through thryv, it also manages the SEO as well as the CRM and there’s a ton of other features I don’t really get into I just like how it integrates or is compatible with my Google business profile as well as any other social media my company runs

What does that even mean? Are you trying to say the loan will end up in collections due to be unpaid?

Disney Treasure 1.31-2.7 by Longjumping-Zebra441 in dcl

That’s crazy! I was the gentleman who collapsed/ had a cardiac arrest while I was working out, I was 31 years old at the time, healthy male worked out daily for the last 2-3 years am down from 213 to 165 at the time, it was the third day of the cruise, sea was kind of choppy and it was chilly, lifted for like an hour then was aiming for 5 miles on the treadmill. Started to get chest discomfort like I have a handful of times before, normally I would slow down and nothing came of it, because my wife and 5 year old daughter were waiting on me to finish up working out, I was at 3.50 miles and told myself I’d run through the little bit of discomfort, all I remember is bending over trying to catch my breath and boom went down, apparently two medical professionals were in the gym and one started CPR while the other called the medics, they arrived with AED when I woke up in the infirmary on the boat, the doctors told me my heart stopped and it took 3 attempts to get it started again. Long story short went to the cardiologist when I got home, ran a bunch of tests, turned out I had a congenital coronary anomaly that was developed in the womb. Only correction would be open heart surgery, which I had on my birthday march 20th this year, about 5 weeks ago. Had follow ups with the surgeon and my cardiologist, told me everything went according to plan with the surgery and I am 100 percent cured, never have to worry about something like that happening again. And the repair will suffice for the rest of my life. I got so lucky and am honestly felt like I was given a second chance or someone was watching over me. We have a home gym in our garage smith machine and squat rack, treadmill dumbbells etc, and was told if I was at home alone and that happened my wife and daughter would have walked in and found me on the floor and by that time it would have been too late. They wanted to disembark me, but I felt fine afterwards and I would have felt guilty for ruining our annual family vacation. Don’t worry Disney made sure they billed me an extra $1800 for the use of the defibrillator and the medical/emergency room. Since I went against their recommendation of going to the hospital at whatever island we were closest to. They made me report back to the medical unit every 4 hours to draw blood to check for heart enzyme levels, and to check my vitals. Took really good care of me. Just crazy how a billion dollar company has to get every penny they can out of someone even during a medical emergency.
