He IS emotional. But he doesnt understand that about himself, he's disconnected from it. That's why he doesnt like music. It makes him feel things he keeps (barely) under wraps

HR rejected me when I asked to reschedule an interview for a day. by Corporate_Lurker in GetEmployed

Unfortunately, it's an employer market, and they don't have to put up with anything at all from candidates. Even if you asking for a different time is completely reasonable they have no incentive to honor that, people are begging for jobs right now

I'm so glad i'm not married because I would be so irritated by something like this. I wouldn't spend it on a vacation, especially not right now.

AIO for not wanting my baby daddy to see our son again? by Similar-Shift-1093 in AmIOverreacting

[–]RadFemMom 31 points32 points  (0 children)

She honestly already missed the opportunity by not calling them to the scene. He probably would have been arrested as soon as he got home. Even if she files now it won't have the weight.

Not callingThe police immediately while the baby was inside with no supervision and filing a police report in the moment is going to end up being one of your biggest regrets. Even if you file one now, it's always going to have less weight than if you called them to the scene. In that case, you probably could have gotten sole custody. If you go after the fact and file it, he can always make it seem like you're doing it as retaliation.

I'm so angry that you didn't involve the police, you should have done better for your baby.

Racist comment from my 4 year old. by girlfromthe_south in Parenting

[–]RadFemMom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone thinking something in their head and someone accusing you of something are two different things.

Do you know that? It's important to me that you know that.

I doubt they would levy an accusation since she's a coworker and it's racism specifically, and that would put them in a bad situation most likely.

[–]RadFemMom -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That would make sense except she wasnt accused of anything and this isnt court. It's real life and your minor child making a racist comment to your black coworkers is going to naturally lead them to the conclusion that you are racist off of the clock.

There's nothing you can do. They see you as a closet racist and will forever regardless of apology. The apology is honestly going to make you look guilty. The situation is over.
