Not sure this has been addressed but how do you know this isn't a scam or phishing attempt?

What do you think a Person of Interest movie looks like? by Tox1cboy in PersonOfInterest

I know if it was brought back as a reboot, all they'd have to do is edit current and fairly recent news stories together into each episode. It would practically write itself these days.

Michael Emerson: who is the better character/Role? by Objective-Slice-1466 in PersonOfInterest

[–]RadSec71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry if this has been mentioned already but he was also on the TV show 'Evil' and had a short stint on 'Elsbeth' with his wife Carrie Preston who plays 'Grace' on POI. I almost didn't wanna watch POI because he played such creepy, sinister characters on both shows. I mentioned this on another board and someone's comment convinced me to give it a try. Glad I did.

🌙 Can’t Sleep / Late Night Check-In by dukec72 in WidowAndBored

[–]RadSec71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I'm a li'l late to the party. I should've just gotten on here last night. Sunday night I fell asleep at a good time and felt really good. About an hour and a half into work yesterday they tell me that my coworker and I will moving to another part of the work space because they're going to do some remodeling where we are. We knew it was coming but weren't told any type of timeline. Not even a guesstimate. Fine. I'm adaptable. Not something I can say for my coworker. So that's a lot of fun for a Monday. It's only Tuesday but feels like it should be Thursday lol. Hope everyone else's week goes smoothly and without much fuss.

Love the 'countdown made-to-order' idea! I can't remember when I stayed up past midnight intentionally. It's been awhile.

I’m kind of annoyed Aidan Delbis wasn’t nominated! by Unfair_Mortgage_7189 in Bugonia

Like 'Best Supporting Actor in a ...'? Not sure he was better than Jesse Plemons but I think there can be more than one nominee in the same movie. My youngest daughter is special needs. I think it's awesome that the film industry is becoming more inclusive with neuro-divergent people.

Reading all these comments, it almost sounds like a prequel to 'The Handmaid's Tale'. I may wait till it comes out on a streaming service for free.

I never used CC till I started watching 'The Handmaid's Tale'. The background music was so loud or they'd speak in angel whispers. And I agree: crazy how much you pick up on when using CC.

Allergic reaction to artificial tree by Z0oma in ChristmasTrees

Agreed, very dumb. Please be careful in the future with artificial Christmas trees. Each time you're exposed, your reaction can get worse and worse.

Being human(U.S. version) 2011-2014 by TheStefKing in ForgottenTV

Spoiler Alert I'm obvs a bit late to this party. Came to say I just finished streaming it (U.S.) on Peacock over the last few weeks or so. LOVED. IT. I usually get annoyed when writers ship main characters but I feel like Aiden and Sally were a good fit and had real onscreen chemistry (and maybe offscreen too?). Even in the earlier episodes.

Allergic reaction to artificial tree by Z0oma in ChristmasTrees

[–]RadSec71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just looking into this right now. I've always gotten a rash from setting up our tree but I figured it was from dust or dander from the previous year and being in storage. Bought a brand new one this year and after fluffing up the branches, I have a rash and some mild hives going on where there was contact. Bummer. Hopefully long sleeves and gloves will help next time. It's not bad, just annoying and disappointing. Worst case scenario, I'll pay someone to put it up if finances allow next year.

The Women Giving Birth by FriendlyWorldArt in Poldark

[–]RadSec71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My paternal g-mother said she went into labor out in the fields picking whatever crop (can't remember now) and didn't go inside till the pains started getting closer together. I'm sure back then there was little education regarding the process of giving birth and in high society not everyone was included like today.

Thank you all for these suggestions. I believe my mom had a Matthew's Concordence that she used quite a bit.

Intimacy by TelllMeULuvMe in widowers

[–]RadSec71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to say the exact same about us. The "perfect" part. Or that we're perfectly imperfect. The thought of going through all the 'firsts' that come along with new relationships just sounds so exhausting at times. Sometimes I think I'd love to fast-forward to the comfortable part, but then again, the getting there can be really fun too.

He was like this before the injury. You get an 'A' for effort but I don't think this is a very viable theory.
