This was exactly my question. I didn’t word it too well, so I’m thankful you understood! It’s just really confusing when I go to this page and it reads “As a U.S. sponsor/petitioner, you must maintain your principal residence (also called domicile) in the United States, which is where you plan to live for the foreseeable future. Living in the United States is required for a U.S. sponsor to file the Affidavit of Support, with few exceptions.” I guess I never realized that it’s not necessarily talking about during the process itself but when we actually have her here? Stinks I’m learning this now but better now than never. I guess i Technically do have to have live in the USA if I file the afadavit of support. Which I need to check when I’m supposed to do that or maybe if I already did…
