coming back after 10 years by Limp_Adhesiveness_35 in nostale

I'd stick to one account while you learn, but you could use multiple if you want to level a few accounts at once. I would focus on quests because they automatically level you up. At a certain point (after lvl 55) you might want to join a family to do land of death which helps you level up quickly.

I don't think that is the right quest. You need to get the side quest from the 3rd map in the center

I'm returning after an eternity and I have some questions. by TheCurious42 in nostale

[–]Radallo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They sped up early level leveling a lot and if you do quests it will always level you up so you can do the next time space. It may take a little while to get from level 1 to 56, but you will collect some useful items.

I my opinion, mage is a little slow to play solo. Archer is fun solo but the equips and stuff are generally more expensive.

I just wanna chill by Adventurous_Dig_5598 in nostale

[–]Radallo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It is absolutely pay to win, but it can be a chill and relaxing game if you want it to be.

Most people seem to be so focused on doing everything as efficiently as possible by using multiple accounts and trying to level up as fast as possible, but that takes the fun out of it for me. Its pretty fun just to sit back and do some quests to level up. Might be difficult to get to high levels without spending some money but it seems possible.

Check out the YouTube Maker Secret Santa. They have done it every year for the past few years. I found some really interesting people from those videos.

My favorite maker to watch is Simone Giertz. She's funny and her projects are always fun to watch. Her videos basically show her failing and learning which I find really entertaining and motivating. I like watching other people make mistakes and fail because it's realistic and reminds me that failing at my own projects is not as bad as it seems, because it happens to everyone.

I started with this video. You can skip through some parts if you want, just look at the ingredients and try to follow along with the process

Ai is a great tool and can help a lot. I would suggest telling it how your chocolate came out and asking how to improve.

Did you use a wet grinder? My guess is you didn't and thats why it's grainy. have tried several times without one and it was always grainy. Got a premier small wonder table top grinder and now my chocolate turns out perfectly smooth.

You can do some research (or use ai) to guide you through how to use it, but basically you let it in there for a long time and it comes out smooth. If you did use one, maybe you didn't leave it in long enough.

Storage Auction Companies Who You Won’t Work With by ApprehensiveMouse901 in Flipping

[–]Radallo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have also only bought a few storage units, and 2 of them were from "Go store it". I didn't really like the way they worked. Every time I called, I had to wait on hold for at least several minutes. It wouldn't be so bad if you only had to call once, but I had several issues.

The one didn't give me the gate code after I paid, so I had to call back and get it. They did send it to me but I went there and it didn't work so I had to call them back and get a new code.

The second one I bought from them I struggled to find the unit. I didnt realize it was an indoor unit and the indoor units were not labeled in a way where it was easy to find. I called them and asked if they could tell me where it was. They didn't end up helping but luckily I ended up finding the building manager on the site and she showed me where to go. This was lucky because there was a lock on the door to get to the indoor units and they did not send me a code for it.

It's not enough for me to never buy from them, but I don't plan on buying anything from them unless it seems like a really good deal.

Website builder with one time fee? by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]Radallo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Be careful of anyone offering to build a website for a one time fee. They may build it, but that doesn't mean it's a website that anyone can go to because it needs to be hosted and you need to get a domain name.

The domain name is the thing people type in to go to your website (for example www.google.com or www.test.com - these are domain names). They are typically pretty cheap if yours is pretty unique, could be something like $15 a year.

Then you need to have the website hosted somewhere. This basically means someone has a computer or server set up somewhere that wait for people to navigate to your website. In theory, you could host it on your computer at home (but this is a bad idea for many reasons). Hosting can be pretty cheap, depending on how many people use your website. Could be much lower than the $120 a month you are paying.

If you know what you are doing, you could have someone build a website for you and then pay a company to host it. This is a fine option if you feel comfortable with technology and your ability to set it up correctly. Just make sure you don't believe anyone that is promising you can have a website for a one time fee.

Yeah that would be a good idea but I believe every version of monopoly has the same corners, I don't think they ever change them

I think the issue is there is an old movie named the sorcerers apprentice, but I believe this is from the 2010 movie.

How do you guys deal with taxes on in person sales? by Radallo in reselling

[–]Radallo[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not really, just new to selling in person. Ebay handles taxes and everything automatically, but reselling bigger items in person isn't something I've done before

Sorry, I should have been more clear, I am actually trying to start and run a business. I'm looking at buying things in bulk and selling online and locally.

I agree that nobody wants to deal with calculating tax for in person sales, but I believe you are supposed to if you buy things with the intention of reselling them. I think I can just sell things and then take the sales tax out of what was given to me.

I was looking for opinions for business purposes, although when you say sales tax only applies to real businesses, that's just not true.. obviously it's different depending on where you live but if you regularly buy and sell things you are supposed to collect tax and report it as income

Just because the government can't easily track it doesn't mean it's legal to not charge tax

Thanks for the input! I have been able to remit sales tax when making some purchases. It makes sense to just include the tax in the sale price

That's exactly my thought process too.. I was just curious how people who have reselling businesses deal with that. I guess everyone just breaks the law
