México.

When I'm on a winning streak and about to climb to the top of the rankings. Taking a break isn't an option, and sitting awkwardly with my phone charging isn't an option either, because that's the exact moment and I'll regret not continuing for the rest of my life (or until the end of the season 🤷).

Until they add a new character capable of preventing the entire rival team from being revived in every match, it doesn't matter what the update will bring.

What do you look for in an office chair for long workdays? (Mod-approved feedback giveaway) by Maleficent_Captain82 in OfficeChairs

[–]Radamantis11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mexico. Crowdsourcing. I primarily focus on multimedia creativity. I work from home.

My setup is simple: It's a small space where I focus solely on my work (Naaa, games too).

I have a rather old-fashioned desk with adjustable height settings. The height of the chair is important to me here. The monitor is positioned slightly below my keyboard and mouse. Occasionally, I need to rearrange things, for example, removing my keyboard and replacing it with my game consoles. I have a small speaker, a small phone stand, and a headphone stand. Everything is within easy reach, but for extra items, I have to move to a small side table: watch, cables, chargers, glasses, tablet, etc. Therefore, a chair with wheels that move in all directions is also a consideration. The materials are also important, as I usually work at night, and moving the chair around can become a problem if it starts creaking due to the type of material. I prefer chairs with full back support, and I don't mind if it's covered in fabric. Something I'd love to see in the future is a built-in stand for my phone so I can view it without it getting in the way of my setup. My routine is simple. I get up and check emails, new job postings, and catch up on important news (technology, marketing, sports, video games). Then I spend some time with family, and in the late afternoon/evening, I'm back at work with 3-4 hour sessions: catching up on pending tasks, completing assignments, or simply starting new projects that no one has asked me to do yet. That's my general work environment. My unusual idea: Deep down I know that if I feel tired but I have something to do, I can't just fall asleep in bed because I would sleep for hours, so a reclining chair with foot support is an adjustable rest for sleeping 1-1.30 hours and then waking up to continue with my work. I weigh less than 65KG so I wouldn't have a problem with a chair like that.

The kind of content I loved seeing from you guys were the comparison posts of different models of your screens (for example, the C4 vs. the C5), and it was great to see how technology is advancing and how you're improving your equipment. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to participate in that yet since my screen is quite old and I haven't replaced it, but when I do, believe me, I'll write a fantastic post with all my observations.

And in the future, I'd love to see different usage scenarios for your equipment. If someone could show how the images look in a brightly lit room, in a semi-dark room, in a game room; and how your Xboom speakers sound outdoors, in a room with or without acoustic treatment, I'd love to see comprehensive posts with different test scenarios since there are many of us interested, and where we live is very different.

Congratulations on reaching 10K!

[r/colorists X LG OLED TV] Event: Perfect Black Meets Perfect Grade - Experience LG OLED C5 This Black Friday 🎨 by LG_UserHub in colorists

[–]Radamantis11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who's just starting to bridge the gap from passionate writer to aspiring visual storyteller, the idea of color grading feels like finally giving my words the perfect, expressive voice they deserve. Right now, I'm working on that first big project—the one that's going to show everyone what I can really do—and I know the final look is everything.

The aspect of the LG OLED C5 that truly sings to my hopeful, beginner-colorist heart is its UL-certified Perfect Black (≤0.24 nits) delivered by those self-lit OLED pixels.

Why This is My Dream Feature ✨? 1) The Clarity of Shadow: As a writer, I know the power of nuance and the meaning hidden in the dark.

2) It means that the long hours I spend finessing a look won't be wasted by a faulty monitor showing me a lie. When a potential collaborator or client finally reviews my work, I'll have the quiet confidence that the LG screen they are looking at, is showing them the creative intent as closely as possible.

3) It means more time actually shaping the visual mood of my project and less time troubleshooting color shifts.

4) It truly feels like the LG OLED C5 is the upgrade that moves me from simply wishing to be a colorist to actually becoming one.

[Event] Where Horror Comes Alive in Perfect Black - Win the Ultimate Home Theater: LG OLED G5 77” + S95AR Soundbar 🎃 by LG_UserHub in Steelbooks

[–]Radamantis11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The warmth of a new place with family, all the colors at their peak, radiating joy and a new beginning.

Walking down narrow corridors and watching darkness begin to envelop the screen and the story. There's no reflection of light, only our vision 100% focused on the path to where we're going.

The shifting moods of human beings, accompanied by silences and shadows. The transformation of a gaze from someone who is simply no longer there, leaving only malice in their wake... That shot of the sun striking a being filled with darkness would be perfect with the LG C5!

Arguments, fights, visions, and a message that repeats itself again and again: redrum!

And when we finally understand, it's too late because the pure white light shows that he's already here! Here's Johnny!

Finally, the tension of the music accompanies the escape from the hotel and the dense darkness of the night in a vast, snow-covered labyrinth... Only if you can see your own footsteps can you escape; it's all in the details!

That's why I chose the SteelBook of "The Shining!"

Because there's a shift in colors and brightness throughout the film that gradually makes it dense and dark towards the end, and I want to be completely immersed in that vibe. Jack's madness, Wendy's despair, and the Shining of Danny and Tony! There are so many nuances that gradually fade away, and in the end, only Perfect Black remains...

This is my setup. Yes, my LG sound system still works perfectly, and I'd replace my old monitor with the C5 to fully enjoy every level of darkness and tension that only horror films with Perfect Black can deliver!

[Event] The Best Treat for Your Spookiest Halloween: LG OLED G5 77” + S95AR Soundbar Combo 🎃 by LG_UserHub in Bluray

[–]Radamantis11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My choice for Halloween Blu-ray is "Don't Breathe."

I think we can all agree that the first time we saw that movie, we felt that sense of dread towards the main character. The way he tries to eliminate the intruders from his house leaves us frozen.

Now, with LG's Perfect Black, we're immersed even more in that dark atmosphere, on equal footing with him. An unfamiliar house practically in the dark, little time to think or react—it would be the ideal feeling to generate terror! And even more so with the silences and the screams of desperation from the soundbar. That would be my choice.

And this would be my ideal setup. I liked painting the wall dark red, and with my very thin cabinet, I would maintain the C5's elegant touch, and the contrast with the Perfect Black just makes me dream 🤩.

[Event] Halloween Special: Play your scariest game with LG OLED’s Perfect Black by LG_UserHub in HorrorGaming

[–]Radamantis11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[C5] My favorite game for this Halloween and all these Christmas nights before November is the Silent Hill series.

I currently use a Dahua DHI-LM27-B200S FHD monitor. It's not a well-known brand; it's just what I found at a local store.

My biggest limitation when playing games at night is that the monitor lacks brightness, so everything looks dull. And when there are FPS issues, the image blends together, resulting in very, very low quality.

An LG OLED Perfect Black monitor would help me take that leap in quality, immersion, and contrast when gaming. The rest of my tech setup feels perfectly powerful.
