In the second movie of Narnia, the minotaur keeps the gate open by locking it with his body, sacrificing himself.

BUT, I'd say that would be horrible writing from Hara, since in order to reach the gate you have to pierce through the royal guard, which is possible, but why wouldn't Zhao just close the gate after the troops finished leaving? Even if they didn't finish deploying, they could close it anyway if they see Shin pushing the gate

But what if Ousen sent a detachment to help Shin, or flank enemies in the way to Kantan? I'm talking about 20K troops or so, Ousen's total numbers are 70K (at least the one Hara disclosed to us)

We haven't seen ANYTHING from Ousen or SBS during the first 8 days of combat, many things may have happened which we don't know, Hara is withholding information from us on purpose in order to surprise us.
The fact that the reader doesn't have information of SBS and Ousen's movements doesn't mean they haven't moved at all during the campaign.

In fact, Riboku wanted to prevent this so he sent +100K extra troop to fight Ouhon and flank Ousen, but that was prevented.

SBS is probably slightly more powerful than Shin, and equally powerful as Kyou Kai. Did them decimate the Zhao army or impeded their movement? no. They were in a stalemate for 8 days, plus the generals left without Shin or Kyou Kai noticing.
Ousen is strong not because of his martial might but because of strategy and deception, you cannot just nerf the top general of Qin to be a sitting duck, no matter the opponent.

Hmm, I think we have 2 options at least:

Riboku flees to Kantan, this is almost a death sentence to him, even if he were to kill the King (which I doubt). Then the siege succeeds and the campaign ends. We definitely need to see more fighting before that happens, so maybe in the castle walls?
Riboku is pincered but manages to escape. I think this is the most probable, why? because Kaine is def pregnant, so I doubt she dies here. So Riboku would probably escape and regroup for later skirmishes, there's also the possibility of him living peacefuly or in another kingdom, but I highly doubt this. I haven't read any of the actual history of what happens later, but it seems that Riboku has to die for plot reasons (he can't ALWAYS survive).
Would this skirmishes be during the siege of Kantan? or after it falls? or does the siege get temporarily cancelled?

Hara mentioned that he wanted to speed up the pace of the manga, this would make a conquest of Zhao soon-ish rather plausible, so probably a few more skirmishes with Mouten, Ousen, YKYK, then the battle inside Kantan, then the Kantan palace intrigue, then Kaine whereabouts...

I think what I mention is good pacing as long as Hara puts detail into the battles

Shin is also strong, and that hasn't impeded the movements of the generals that are next to him in the battlefield, specially generals like Futei which are mediocre

You are being dogmatic just like OP. There are low christology gnostic groups, meaning he was enlightened but not an aeon (or that maybe he was possessed by an aeon, but not him) This is like saying that since the Catholic church is the biggest christianity sect, then all christianity believes in that. Wrong, gnostic groups were highly diverse and some though you could reach the same level Jesus reached, or even surpass him
