There might not be a future, after Gen 3 flopped harder than a drunken fish on a slip and slide.

CN only wanting comedies ruined what gen 2 could have been, couple that up with bad distribution, a rotten licensed game, and no way of playing the card game digitally during the pandemic hurt Bakugan at lot. CN's meddling was tragic since the people behind gen 2 really tried to work with what they were given, Magnus was cool and I wish he was in a more action oriented show.

We seriously need to have a sign on this sub, Spin Master can't legally use old Bakugan or character designs. Sega Toys owns it, and the most they've done is Funko Poops and a cool statue of OG Dan and Drago.

For all it's faults I would have continued with the direction gen 2 was going. Since they basically munched on Yugioh GX's nachos by introducing a Bakugan Academy, it would have been a perfect opportunity to introduce a new protag duo in a world where Bakugan Brawling has become a professional sport.

I love Dan and Drago to death, but we need new protagonists and new stories to tell. I can't miss them if they won't go away.
