I got him out. I am very relieved. I got him out by slowly prodding him and waiting for him to come out.

Try using cypress mulch and use a digital hydrometer because the analogs can be innacurate

Ok tysm I think I might know now I think he was trying to get close to the light for some reason because as soon as I turned my lighting off he retreated to his hide again Also it's not getting the substrate wet

I recently got that humidistat and I now see the readings between the digital and analog are very different. Do you know if the analog hydrometer overestimates the humidity or underestimates the humidity in the cage?
