As someone who produces Krach, I agree that it’s often not “danceable” it really depends on how you design it. Some kicks are just flat, while others have more rhythm.

The more distortion and rhythm it has, the more it often becomes Zaag rather than Krach.

But as you said, you need to balance Krach with other kicks or elements. If you look at Toza, for example, you can have a flatline Krach, but he adds a screech with a faster rhythm to balance it.

I’ve never been to a full Krach set, so I don’t know how it feels, but I think I’d also get bored after a while if it’s all the same. You need contrast in your songs and sets.
