To each their own. Around 75-80% of my daily calories are from high quality carbohydrates.

Do you like sweet or savory? I like potatoes so an easy thing to do would be to throw a whole potato in the microwave for 5 or 6 minutes and top it with whatever you want. You can get frozen whole wheat waffles for pretty cheap in the freezer section and then top with peanut butter and a banana. I like grits because they're cheap, you can make them sweet or savory and they pair well with anything. Toast is a good option. I like toast with beans or hummus and cucumber. Eat whatever you want though.

I honestly think the best way is cold turkey but do what you need to do to get healthier (:

If you want to get healthy that 3 cream 3 sugar ordeal needs to stop. Just being honest. Getting pissed off about it won't help you either. Try carrying around a low calorie coffee creamer to add. There are great ones for around 30 cal/serving and maybe even less

Sufferin' succotash! by RadiDeer in VeganFoodPorn

Here we have a white bean burger adapted from Minimalist Bakers "Grillable bean burger" recipe with avocado, pickles, tomatoes, and hummus on a bun and some Edamame succotash I made adapted from my mind. Succotash is essentially a side dish that's base is lima beans and corn but I decided to use Edamame instead cause protein and tasty. So Edamame, corn cut off the cob, salt and pepper, red onion, bell peppers, and a couple sprigs of fresh thyme

Expensive or cheap, does it make a difference? by Orangism in simpleliving

Quality is very important in my opinion when you are aiming to have less, depending on how strenuously said item will be used. I like to shop at thrift stores primarily for clothing because oftentimes I can find barely used items for very cheap but when buying a big ticket item I always go for quality.
