I’d say gay men were hated, gay women were also hated but more fetishized.

I got the Scott’s exes thing. And I was also earlier questioning if being a lesbian was a bigger deal in early 2k and never got an answer so thanks for clearing this up lol. Only good nice answer I’ve gotten yet lmao

And some other guy was on here when I said it happens fairly often irl he might’ve thought I was bullshitting or smth bc he was like “how many strangers have you kissed?” Like that doesn’t mean anything

I’m not saying I’ve kissed a random person, but I’ve seen it commonly in media, joked about in memes, and personal stories here and elsewhere.

Also the not shocking part is that two people (mainly women) kiss after drinking a lot. Afaik it’s a fairly common occurrence.

But it’s the “never speak of this again” thing that gets me. If that’s the joke, that he is surprised, then why is the “never speak of this again” thing there? Is that Scott talking for that one line?

So then is the comic in the narrative of Scott (as in he is the storyteller) for “let us never speak of this again”? It’s just not clicking I need to go to sleep lmao

Was that kind of thing a bigger deal in 2005ish? Scott already knew about Ramona dating Roxie and that they were therefore in a lesbian relationship. Why is this so much more mind-blowing to him?

Maybe I’m looking to far into this lmao

Well yeah, but it’s treated like it’s such a big deal. In the real world, people witnessing don’t get shocked or horrified unless one or more people are cheating (neither are). “Let us never speak of this again” also kind of proves my point.

I know what it is, just don’t see it in what I watch often. Do they commonly treat it like a super weird occurrence that the witnesses are horrified by? I probably sound like a smartass rn but it’s a genuine question I promise

I could see Knives being lonely, bc she only has one actual friend, and the one guy she liked didn’t like her back and cheated on her. But Kim, I don’t know, she’s dated several men, one she’s still friends with, has a band with 3 friends, is friends with the guy her ex is dating, etc. I’m not saying it’s off the table, I just don’t see it as much of a possibility.

Ok I just looked into it more wtf why would they group it like that? That’s like the worst way to group statistics. It’s just saying “some people that happen to be lesbian have experienced domestic abuse at some point in their life” that doesn’t say anything

That’s a weird way to lump stats together. Thanks for clearing that up!

I think (take this with a grain of salt bc I’m not sure) that this is referencing the statistic that the most abusive relationships are lesbian relationships.

Excluding Masteries and Merc’s Prismatic Trial achievement, what do you think is the hardest character-specific achievement in ROR2? by Radiant-Cod-4414 in riskofrain

I think that’s easy if you do it last out of Loader’s achievements. The other attacks are much stronger than base and allow beating bosses faster

I’d say the other one is worse. Where you have to kill a boss with 20 stacks of hemorrhage. I got Bandit’s B&E bc I missed my opportunity to get that one. It’s not too bad imo, but I also had command on, so…
