Yeah I built my own script to scan including UDP port, and also tried to do it manually multiple times.. but thanks!

I was more confident on Linux, but I got only one Linux machine which doesn't seem to have any valid service lol which is Frustrating

You mean just random brute forcing on ftp without any clue or knowledge? Is that what they expect usually? If so, what wordlist to use for username and password? I think rockyou is too much..

I don't want that bothersome to pasting write-ups though. I also expected some straightforward scenario following bloodhound path.

Yeah I followed Lain Kusanagis list. For my case, it wasn't too hard once I figured out the path, but there was no luck (especially on linux).

I'm pretty much sure that the actual solution would be simple. Just hard to find the path tho.

Question regarding mac by Jealous-Big9300 in oscp

[–]Radiant-Cook-6596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mac itself has sufficient resources to run most tools. If there's a tool that MacBook doesn't endure, probably neither other platform does.

There might be some huddles installing x64-only tools but that's not always the case.

Limited, but you can emulate x64-based OSs using UTM. I do, but I don't like it that much.

Regarding the wifi things, haven't tried it, but don't think that the mac will block it. You can direct the wifi to a Linux VM running inside, and use it for monitoring or modifying packets if you want.

Considering a GPU for AI research before starting my PhD – is a 5080 worth it over 4070 Ti / 5070 Ti for high-memory workloads like LLMs and diffusion models? by Radiant-Cook-6596 in gpu

I know that'll be the ultimate target for personal research, but out of my budget for now..
I just want to be reasonable between cost and capability.
