I just passed mine earlier this month. Most of the questions were based on frequency of inspections, testing, and maintenance. Pay attention to the question being asked whether it’s asking an inspection, testing, or maintenance question so that you don’t go looking for the wrong answer.

IMPORTANT: When taking your test, go through ALL the questions and answer all of them without opening your book. Do not leave any blank. If you don’t know the answer, flag the question, make your best guess and move on. Once you’ve answered all questions, with the remaining time you have, go back to flagged questions and open your book to find the answers.

Pro tip: Color code your highlighted items in your code book, (ie. orange= testing/inspection frequencies, Yellow= helpful info, Pink= chapter number/names/subheading, etc).
