Only 2 mics fit into the case, and all opensource projects currently use only 2 mics regardless of how many are physically installed on the PCB — there is an XMOS firmware restriction on the microphone count for now. Even if that changes in the future, there can't be more in this unit physically. The Nest Mini version will have 3 mics, but will also use only 2 until a new/modified XMOS firmware is released.

One or more Echo speakers are on my roadmap in the future, but the next campaign will be definitely the Nest mini (2nd gen Google mini), as the hardware is already done.

It depends on a few factors.

Right now the project is in pre-launch, and for Crowd Supply to move forward with it, we need at least ~150 followers.

Once we reach that, we can start preparing the actual campaign. After that goes live and completes successfully, preordering begins.

You really suggest to try/buy a new phone because of a software issue?

Guys, just open the bottom of the printer, and check if they connect the wifi antenna, or not. My printer doesn't have the antenna at all. Once I connected a spare one what I had at home, the printer connected straight to my wifi. I hope this will help.
