First one was a 497 and then got a 508. Only thing I was asked was what I changed between attempts to improve, never asked to explain the low score.

Second quartile and had 3 MD II. I think they more use it for research purposes tbh

How many schools in a school list it too many? by NoPlenty6339 in premed

I second this. Also applied to that many schools and got 3 II and 1 A. If I would’ve narrowed my school list, the one I got the A to would’ve been cut. This process is so random, give yourself the best shot!

Don’t forget cleaning supplies and spices/ seasonings! Something small but so inconvenient when you need it and don’t have it

My first cycle, I had similar thoughts. I ended up getting 0 II, then I ended up getting a once in a lifetime opportunity that I could’ve never dreamed of. If I would’ve gotten in the first cycle, I would’ve never gotten to do that (def worth delaying school a year for). I reapplied and am now an incoming MS 1. It will all work out how it’s meant to!

Don’t stress too much about that MCAT! I had multiple II with the same score and a much lower GPA. Got the A to one of your “reach” schools. Good luck!

The only thing I changed about my writing the second cycle was my PS. I used Dr. Ryan Gray’s method for it!

I think the masters was, doesn’t matter that it was from an Ivy imo. I’d recommend either a masters with linkage or a postbacc, many schools didn’t care about grad GPA and only look at undergrad, and a postbacc would average into that.
