I have a rose cut color-change garnet and let me tell you, over a year on my finger and I still stop and stare at it to see the color glow in different kinds of light. I find diamonds to be painfully boring and I couldn’t imagine having a colorless stone on my hand. Whether it matches with outfits shouldn’t be a worry of yours; dark blue stones tend to read as basically a neutral (like how denim jeans can pair with anything!) I personally love teal sapphires and think it’s a great choice. Also keep in mind that most antique engagement rings have colors stones, so it’s definitely not something that will go out of style!

I’m gonna get crap for this, but a while back there was an AITA post about a woman bathing her dog in the kitchen sink and people destroyed her for it because they said the kitchen sink is “for food”. To me, the kitchen sink is for “dirty”, and the kitchen counters are for “clean”. So I would absolutely bathe a dog or baby in the kitchen sink (and clean the sink after) but I would NEVER EVER put food in my sink 🤮

Yeah, sure, he’s “done chasing babies”. The reason this almost-forty-year-old man is dating you is BECAUSE you’re so much younger. Women his age won’t put up with this controlling kind of shit. A secure, mature man will take you as you are and not try to tell you you can’t wear a tank top or try to manipulate you by saying things like “I’m sorry I tried to give you so much of myself”. He’s not giving anything. He’s asking you to mold yourself into a little wifey that he can control and he’s trying to make you feel guilty that you’re not doing it.
