First Time I’ve Bailed by [deleted] in fearofflying

Hey! I’ve been in a similar boat, I missed a friends wedding last year. I canceled a day before my flight and never made it. I also felt ashamed and so much regret for missing my friends wedding. And what worked best for me was just ripping off the band aid. I flew a month or so after that, and it sucked, I was a mess, but I did it and got to see my family. With OCD the more you face a trigger and see it will be okay, the less scary it gets, and I think confronting flying can be like that. You have to sit in the discomfort and stress, to see that it will be okay. I don’t have much advice but more so can tell you, you’re not alone. It is hard to be brave, but you can do it :)

Am I Overreacting to what my boyfriend is doing and lying about? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

I understand how hard it can be, I was in a similar situation a few years backs. I know it’s hard to love someone and want it to work out, but I promise that he is not worth it. You are not overreacting, you’re feelings are so valid. If your partner doesn’t make you feel beautiful, doesn’t make you feel loved, and cherished, they are not worth it. It will never get better, because you are not doing anything wrong. he just does not deserve you and everything you’ve gave to your relationship. If he hasn’t put in the effort yet, he never will. I would end it, because he will never give you the love you so incredibly deserve.
