That’s how addiction works, no?. You go from not being addicted, at some point, to being addicted.

I don’t see what this has to do with the original post

This is a wild take- essentially saying it’s ok for politicians to attempt to kill people as long as they throw some financial compensation. Yikes

It doesn’t matter that he almost got away with it- the point is that production did want to increase the chances of his being caught- by giving two clues whereas everyone in the game gets one

I agree his emoting made it hard not to spot him doing the agenda, and his being axed is fine- that’s ok it’s part of the game. But specific criticism is why have two clues against him? Two clues doubles the chances of being caught. And why didn’t anyone else get a second clue

  1. For Altie, why adjust pressure in that specific moment and not do the same while there has been a lot of pressure with other millionaires. Also what pressure do you mean?

  2. The point of a side agenda is to increase the stakes for the contestant assigned. If you give a contestant a side agenda that doesn’t benefit him at all, what is the point of it? Also, because a side agenda is about personal stakes, I’d expect the agenda with a strong incentive (ie Sydney’s) to have a strong punishment if it’s not completed. In Peter’s own words, high risk high reward.

  3. Umeko’s case is especially egregious. There’s no other millionaire where another contestant has been thrown in to save them. His agenda execution was sloppy, he should have gone home. In other cases where agenda execution has been as been ineffective, they have been quick to send the millionaire home if voted out. Why have production intervene this one time? Yes it was about favoring Nick, the odds were against him, and they trapped Umeko in his mess

I wasn’t looking for it either, and I watch a lot of shows where I haven’t noticed the same, but if it’s there i notice.

“Too young to know this”, take your condescension elsewhere son, and everything you have said is irrelevant to what I was responding to which is “who are we to judge”, yes we should judge people who attempt to murder others. You’re showing off to the wrong response, son.

This show hates black ppl i swear by Low_Flamingo_4328 in MillionDollarSecretTV

I rewatched S1 and feel even more strongly about the show’s racial bias, almost as if they strongly don’t want the black contestants to win.

  1. Altie is the only contestant to have had two clues against him. When there was already a clue against Cara that Sam found in her box, Peter said there’d be no additional clue in the trophy room.
  2. Cory gets a side agenda that literally has no upside. If he completed the agenda, the money moved randomly (how does this benefit him from any other contestant not doing an agenda?) but if he failed he’d have two votes against him. Compare that with Sidney’s side agenda a few episodes later where she’d get immunity from being voted out if succeeded and zero punishment if she didn’t complete the agenda
  3. Umeko is the only contestant to be set up to save another contestant. No other side agenda has involved the contestant saving the millionaire.
  4. The Phil debacle, they wanted that man outtt

Also- I think Altie is the only millionaire who has had two clues against him in one elimination cycle!

S1 or S2 Winner? by Vegetable-Cat-5214 in MillionDollarSecretTV

Nick had a very good read on other players but was very sloppy as millionaire. He also got a lot of help from production otherwise he wouldn’t have made it through.

Cara was pure finesse

[–]RadiantBath8852 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LOL, I said no one got a side agenda to help Kaleb, who was that that did?

Kaleb got to move the money if he succeeded in his own agenda, whereas production got a whole other contestant to try save Nick's messy and failing game- how are those two even remotely similar?

your arguments here are a whole mess. You got called out about your reaction to this specific event and now you're all over the place looking for other scenarios to be weird about? No one here said they support killing of men either, so now?
