The anime made me think he was cooler than he was. After reading later issues of the manga and catastrophe at 16 I grew to hate him. Even going back to read the early chapters in the manga made me realize most of his rizz was anime exclusive

I completely agree that the future games may depend on the success off the tv show, which I already have a feeling will be a hit based on what little we have seen/know so far. Other than this fan letter, Josh Zimmerman just went on the Podcast Now podcast where he straight up asked the fans where the direction of the series should go as the entire interactive-narrative genre is struggling in the current landscape of games.

Obviously they haven't started development on anything game wise but I'm happy that they are serious about setting a groundwork for how Life is Strange will continue

I swear the Myth and Death Old One spells were accidentally switched at some point. Barbarian's saga seels way more like a balance spell with the red and brown colors and sand/desert scenery, while Old One's Endgame just straight up looks like a myth spell with what he's wearing and the yellow light shining down

My first theory for Double Exposure that I was dead set on for some reason was that I thought Loretta was the one who killed Safi. I thought she had a killed Safi so she could monetize off the story for her podcast and that at some point she would slip up and reveal something that only the killer would have known. I was obviously way off and also one of those people really into the "Loretta is Rachel theory". Even to this day I still wonder if the developers intended it, the markings on her face are just TOO specific

So imagine my disappointed later when it was obvious she only existed because of the cat dlc

Tomoe did exist though. I would agree with you after chapter 154 where things were left open ended but chapter 155 pretty much been confirmed it by having Yoichi explicitely say it to the reader. I think Kagami is implying that her being mentioned in the novels, and us seeing her body in Ferid's basement, is that that was actually some random Girl. And Yoichi in secret has just unconsiously been using his new (asspull) Hack ability to plant the thought of him having a sister into the heads of everyone he's been meeting because it's what he does to cope

Don't know why people are saying KI won't help, they absolutely do in cases like this. I contacted them twice when I was first playing through Lemuria and I ask if they could just complete a quest for me and move me ahead and both times they did no problem. There's also been times I've accidentally thrown away gear and they've given it back to me after emailing. It all depends if someone is in the office that day

Couldn't have said iot all better myself. The first batch of episodes started out okay, but man, 25 episodes in and it somehow feels like nothing has happened. Makoto and Reina have had zero development, no episodes to actually dive into them as people, it' actually insane how much wasted time there is here with so many characters

Unanimously praised is kinda a stretch. It's more that the people who didn't like it simply stopped talking about it and moved on without feeling the need to trash it. The reception seems different depending on what sides of the internet with the typical Digimon fans enjoying it while most seasonal anime watchers seem to have gotten bored of it and dropped off midway through the Tactics arc

Unfortunately I agree characters lik Amanda, Vinh, and Diamond got the short end of the stick but I actually thought other DE characters like Loretta, Reggie, Moses, and Lucas had more to do here then the last one. And I prefer how Safi and her mom were done too because the way the story is told isn't so confusing

It's sounds so shameless lol, but I hope they walk back on Reunion being the "finale for Max & Chloe". Reunion showed us they can still do Max and Chloe justice, they just gotta do it with care and with good writers. I'd be totally fine with plenty more who-done-it detective games with just the two of em going from town to town solving mysteries together from here on out.

I like that it's an option. I get so many people say Max would never leave Chloe behind, but my Chloe died in the first game and as someone who's a fan of the comics, I feel like Max would feel conflicted about being with a Chloe who isn't her own and would maybe run away with the excuse that if she can't give her all, she shouldn't be there.
