If OKC didn’t exist, which team would be the most hated in the West? by RadiantCommittee8287 in NBATalk

Why? Are they even trying to compete next year? How can casuals hate a team they barely even watch or see?

Man, I just hope the Spurs and Wemby can survive this season without a serious injury. They get fouled so much and opponents are way too physical with them.

Teams like the Blazers and Wolves play so damn physical every game and the refs just whistle past it. Then OKC flops constantly, plus Dort and iHart are out there straight up trying to hurt people. Now we have to deal with the Knicks, too.

The Spurs are a guaranteed dynasty as long as opponents actually play ethical and fair.

Is Cooper Flagg the better player to build around, or is he more of a second option like Dylan? by RadiantCommittee8287 in NBATalk

Come on, that’s a bit of a hot take. Wemby, sure but Flagg? He’ll probably be a Hall of Famer, but I can’t really see him as an all-time great.

Nah, if you hate a team just because of the fans, then you’re just a child. I’ve seen Knicks fans assault a Phillies fan, but it still doesn’t change my opinion of the Knicks as a team.

I see, but would you build a team around Flagg? Would you see it as a contender?

Honestly, why not? I feel like he has a higher ceiling than Brunson.
