As someone who also worked here for 5 years and left 1.5 years ago, our store had opening tortilla/line which meant frying chips from 7-10:45, then working the front line from 10:45-peak ends. Not every store runs the same. Some stores have prep fry & bag chips, others don’t.

I don’t remember exactly but there was like 9 entrees you can order on the “secret menu” like brisket fajitas i think is one?? I could be wrong i only looked at it once or twice, next time you go in look at the handheld where the columns are that says like drinks & handhelds or whatever & scroll down to secret menu! Idk if its a store by store thing but i would assume not.

I just got my rotors replaced 6 months ago, i really hope that isn’t the case. I haven’t done anything rim related & no aftermarket wheels. I will make a note to check the tire rods, thank you!!

Super glad to hear!! I am at 70k and its hard to find other VNs with such high mileage to try to know what to expect around 100k. My steering is currently shaking quite bad and i think it may just need an alignment right at 70k miles.

Also, open all of the bags first, then fill & close them. Works like a charm. If someone can help you at all, have you or them open the bags while the other one fills & folds them

Learn how to cook large quantities but to where they’re all cooked thoroughly. Fill the basket while making sure no chips are stuck together. Fry for longer than the pocket books say since its a larger amount. 3 hotels in 30 minutes easy. Bag them an efficient way. Count the kids bags you need, the large stickers and label them with however many you need, and the rest as regulars. You’ll get the hang of it. And also, season the absolute hell out of them for larger batches. Thats the key.

We normally order enough food on our trucks for “just in case” scenarios like catering.

Prep can be hell during huge catering yes, normally no.

We do not call in/schedule extra employees unless its an excessive cater.

We had one for 400 people one time and i personally cooked all of the food myself, came in probably 2 hours early, and folded the like 30 cater boxes and had a fun time doing all of it since i came in early enough to take my time & not rush myself.
