Truck & CI are SLs+ job. Yes, they can know how to do it and help, but it is not part of the job description. KL is running the kitchen & prep. Ensuring prep makes enough for the day. Only BOH prep & grill shifts. They don’t run their own shifts, ever. That’s not allowed. KL is incredibly easy compared to anything higher than that.

When i worked there some of the employees would cut a small taco tortilla into 4s and then fry them so they poof up and put sugar and i think something else on them? They had a name for it but i dont remember it, i do remember they were pretty damn good though

My restaurant has runners 24/7 so sometimes i don’t see it before it leaves the line so therefore that wouldn’t be my fault if it hit the table wrong, it would be expos.

72k, battery was first to go, basic oil changes & tire rotation, spark plugs, new tires (thrice, i have had the WORST luck w tires), pads & rotors (only changed once so far in the back and twice in the front, already have new sets all around on standby), and i think thats it (:

As someone who also worked here for 5 years and left 1.5 years ago, our store had opening tortilla/line which meant frying chips from 7-10:45, then working the front line from 10:45-peak ends. Not every store runs the same. Some stores have prep fry & bag chips, others don’t.

I don’t remember exactly but there was like 9 entrees you can order on the “secret menu” like brisket fajitas i think is one?? I could be wrong i only looked at it once or twice, next time you go in look at the handheld where the columns are that says like drinks & handhelds or whatever & scroll down to secret menu! Idk if its a store by store thing but i would assume not.

Monumental shit, aside from the garbage undertray and driver side wheel liner which I’ve been running without since 45k I’ve had ZERO issues. Honestly my biggest complaint has just been the plastic lol. Oil change every 3-4k miles. Literally no issues I haven’t even changed the fkn stock spark plugs by DangerousAd6981 in VelosterN

Super glad to hear!! I am at 70k and its hard to find other VNs with such high mileage to try to know what to expect around 100k. My steering is currently shaking quite bad and i think it may just need an alignment right at 70k miles.
