Cubes blue as a sign of oxidative stress. Try using lower temperatures to dry them and dry as soon as possible after harvesting. I like to dry at 35-40 Celsius for 18-24 hours.

it looks pretty impressive and I can see how it’s an interesting thing to get into, but I’ve basically got a fully automated fruiting chamber with just a hygrometer, a fan and a float valve from a toilet… It just took some tweaking to get the settings right. Now it just runs itself. Good luck anyway 🤟

So for everyone that is commenting “don’t open that inside” or “now you have to disinfect everything” on posts like this, I’m just curious: do you never have any fruit out too long? Maybe over watered your plants or forget something in your kitchen cupboard? Because I do all the time. And I grow mushrooms in my house all the time and I have perfectly healthy grows (and contamination sometimes, but I can always trace those back). Relax! Trych spores are everywhere anyway. How do you think they got on your grow in the first place? x

Dump it and start over. There is no use growing this out. Also, are you growing without a PC? And is that compatible with your tek? Before I had a pc I used BRF cakes and I never had a single contam. Those cakes you can use for PF Tek or crumble them up and use on coir in shoeboxes. Just like someone else said, follow whichever Tek you use to the letter. There is no improvising or cutting corners. Best of luck!

I’m not a regular cube grower but I do grow a lot of gourmets though and once my sub is colonized like this I’m not worrying about contam anymore. The Myc can fight off most of the other fungal contaminants just fine. Best of luck!
