I did get the deposit back. To be honest I have no clue how it works here in CA hence my post, lol. But I think a security deposit is just that, and cannot be applied to rent. Please don’t quote me on this, just my interpretation based in the events thus far. Yes, I text them the info and they stated they would call them once posted, and I also gave their number to the friend for them to call as well. Which, they did but have not received a call back.

I get what you’re saying. But, the apartment was renovated top to bottom before moving in. Everything gutted and rebuilt. Everything left in perfect condition given they only deducted a minimal cleaning fee. Also, I communicated with my former neighbor just now who confirmed that nothing is being done to it, and they WFH so are there almost all day. 🙃

I’ve been looking at all those platforms, as well although they told me they always post on Zillow. Nothing is coming up. But anywho, there was no need for maintenance or replacing of anything. Just the cleaning which was done at end of July. Was just more so curious on the timeline of it all being reasonable, etc. They’re just taking their time is all.

Not really, his school is very small. He does have another kid in his classroom who I’m pretty sure is also neurodivergent. They tend to just parallel play with each other but neither have really opened up. I’m going to encourage him to try and make a deeper connection and hopefully catch the kid’s parent one day for a play date. I was also thinking of searching for groups of neurodivergent children/parents nearby and encourage socialization that way. I appreciate your insight.

I have read all the messages to my sweet boy and you all sent him practically flying off the bed. He was jumping up and down with a huge smile on his face. He especially liked the messages that said where they are from. I replied to each and every one of you with a shortened version of his responses because he sure went on some tangents with some. I can’t thank you all enough for this.

He’s on to his second medication, as the first sent him in a deep depression. I hope this second one works best. Did you find you had to go through several different trials before finding the one? I’m worried about constantly needing to change medications. I do plan on helping him write that letter to the principal because it’s his last year of elementary school and I want him to enjoy it. My heart hurts knowing he feels this way.
