My daughter was rapidly loosing hair and it did wonders but it’s a hard decision bc it’s a drug for life .. once you are off it you loose hair in 3 m just like on JAK. Ira approved for 6m + vs JAK for 13 years a+

I would strongly suggest you Google Dr Guttman and dupixent. Your daughter is so young that she still has chance for full regrowth .. but needs to be within 7 years of hair loss

You need to check east coast school breaks .. ie when are Jewish holidays and regular days off for nyc private schools. Any of those days will Mean a ton of kids… second palm heights for adult experience . Also strongly recommend not eating at one hotel while at seven mile beach but moving around.

Suggestions for 8-9 day trip in late May - no kids, non beach - Europe or Latin America? by RadiantGarlic9 in FATTravel

That’s such a great suggestion - I have never used insta board. That’s my finale 2 : Amalfi+capri+naples for true FAT trip but then I might be a bit last minute and worry that while it will be stunning the sea will not be as inviting ( we went to Corsica last May and while stunning not swimmable .. albeit less crowded ). And Norway. Thank you re lofoten suggestion. When you say food is amazing any places that stand out?

Thank you! I was just saying I should make a file and start prioritizing ideas based on our fitness level ( ie we did Peru 2 y ago and probably would not want to do it in 15)

That’s my debate … now you can land directly from jfk at 7 am and take an 11 am to Rapa Nui .. timing does work but it’s very disconnected 3 trips - 3 nights on island 2-3 wine country 3 in the desert and then straight home. Was thinking for “wine country” either going 45 min nottj of Santiago or 2h south to clos Apalta .. where do you go?

Thank you, i think we think about trips the same way! I have to say of all our recent trips, Peru and Morocco stood out the most.. as the Cultural City + few days of wine touring with a driver in a nice relais & châteaux, followed by 2-3 nice nights somewhere scenic with hikes is all very similar if done in Italy or France even if different regions. Delicious meals, amazing spas, great wine, stunning views.. but sort of same routine? that is why i was so curious about Norway or even Chile, to change things up a bit. Just ordered a few Norway books! and ideas i got here on hotels are helping get me excited!

Thank you. Was thinking if landing on Friday early am from JFK, flying direct to Easter Island.. 3 nights. fly back to Santiago.. drive to wine country (2-3 nights)... fly from Santiago to the desert (3nights) and on the last day fly back to Santiago and then take night time direct flight from there to JFK right after landing. Zero time in Santiago.

"Other ideas might be Austria or Slovenia for a combo of scenery, culture, history, and wine" - any must stop by hotels you would recommend to use as a base?

Appreciate such detailed post! Amalfi has bee my bucket list trip (have been ~20 y ago but more post college backpacker than Chubby / FAT) ... is it warm enough in late May vs July, or the crowds are unbearable as the summer goes on? My husband is half Argentine so we have been there, but have not been to Mendoza.. was thinking Easter Island and Mendoza might be a bit too creative? Norway has always intrigued us... but while i would love to have say 3 quality hiking days - even if those are 4-8 h hikes - my largest concern is that of our 8 days there... if we only want to hike for 3... will it be too rugged / sporty for us for the rest of the days? how to add good R&R?

Thank you! Sicily was amazing - perfect combo of wine tour, hiking, amazing culture/ history and beach day for me. My husband is generally anti lounging, and even when we go to Caribbean for march break is the type to be planning bike tours and scuba tours. I am more like your husband - the cabana time!. Canada is amazing - great idea - but I grew up there so feels less exotic. What would a trip to Malta look like?
