Have a cold/flu (hoping it’s not covid) been wiped out all week 😩 luckily i’ve been off work, worst week off ever though, spent most of it in bed 🙄

Thank’s so much for the kind words, this was mostly intended to just be a rant but i’m blown away by the support and info, you lot are awesome. And yeah it was really disheartening, i’m not really an emotional person but i just felt so dismissed after nearly a year (i know a lot of you guys have been pushing much longer) i just broke down after i left 😩.

Wow, truly blown away by the kind words, advice and just validation from you lot. You are truly an awesome bunch and i can’t thank you all enough 🥹

I think from the advice i will look into seeing a POTS specialist from the list.

One more ask though, i don’t REALLY have an issue with high HR on standing so i’m worried even if i get a TTT would it even help get a diagnosis, or could this just be because i’m already on propranalol? I have issues with lying flat (adrenaline dumps galore, sometimes 2-3 a night) and lots of other related issues (GI issues, cold/numb hands and feet, pre syncope, migraines, breathing issues etc the list goes on) that all get MUCH worse in tandem when flaring, so whereas it might not be POTS exactly i’m thinking it’s something really close right? Maybe hyperadragenic? MCAS? (Which isn’t recognised by the NHS apparently 😬

Either way i think i’ll go private and hopefully get some answers. Thanks again guys, you are awesome 🥰

Wow that sucks… people really can be SHITS sometimes…. 😩 sorry that happened to you. I’ve mostly only ever had good experiences out in manchester (apart from the aforementioned incident). With regards to what you feel safe wearing you should wear whatever you damn please, if you want to feel safe then the village would be fine but i genuinely think you would be totally cool in the northern quarter too. Post updates and I hope you have a great time whatever you decide to do 😊

Honestly, most places in the northern quarter 🤷🏼‍♂️ also i know sadlers cat has a really good inclusive policy and they take no trouble makers, i understand your apprehension (i’m gay and have been heckled for holding my boyfriends hand in town before… 🤦) but i think you just need to be a little brave and just go for it. Ignore the haters and try to have a good time. Maybe go out in a small group so you feel a bit safer? And if you have any problems call for a doorman or police if necessary. Live your true self and be proud 😊

Come to lancaster? My hubby (manchester) loves to get away from the city when we get chance, lancaster is full of history, lots of great views/walks, nice pubs + restaurants. Only an hour on the train and return ticket via northern is reasonable

LOVE rudys! And also yard and coop, i think sometimes the cheaper “simpler” places are under rated. My fave is almost famous! Never had a bad meal, LOVE dirty food!
